@@tombailey837 Actually, it's true. My mom found her love interested to my dad. My mom is Puerto Rican. My dad is Mexican. My mom went to speak my grandpa that she wants to marry. He thought she found someone with riches and full of money. My dad does tree service and landscapes. She introduce my dad to her family. My grandpa disapprove. So is my grandma. It takes time of bonding. They finally accept him to married the family and treat him as part of the family. You might think we're wrong. Would you done a same thing to dealt with the situation for a hand of marriage and asked permission?

Your family choosing to accept it didnt changed your parents choice otherwise they would've left that relationship much earlier. Them being together meant they prioritized each other over any bs blessing.
