People need to chill and realizes that there is a bit of truth and little exaggeration that nearly all the family members do in this show. People gets so wrapped up in the fights that they forget that Ray and Debra have shown plenty of times to love each other. Ray is nowhere near critical to Debra as Marie is about her roles as housekeeper/mother (outside of cooking), takes the time to comes up all of these creative and unusual nicknames for her and occasionally had made her laugh. In return Debra puts up her in laws' antics for the sake for Ray and is often his confidant. She is also supportive of his job. She just wishes he would help her out a bit more without her having to nag him to do it. Both are also shown to be caring parents to their kids in their own way. With Ally, Ray dressed up for Santa, got an expensive playing card for her, went to a father-daughter dance with her and proven to be quite overprotective and doting towards her. For the twins, he is often shown to be amused with them when they do show up, encourages Michael to go back to school after a embarrassing accident and he and Debra were a team on deciding on whether to have the twins repeat a grade together or not. Through dialogue it is mentioned that the family went on a trip to a lake house where Geoffrey tried to ride a goose, Ray took all three kids to Nemo's while Marie and Debra were at Amy's wedding party and it is mentioned in The Ride Along that he let the kids jump on top of him. Meanwhile, Debra is very involved with teaching her children responsibility and their education. Ray and Robert bickers often but they really do cares about each other deeply. Debra and Robert cares about each other as brother/sister in law. He's a good uncle to his niece and nephews. That is it. This family get into petty or selfish moments but they really are there for each other at the end of the day.
@@ChrisBrown-jp1hi Debra asked him a question. Raymond refuse to answer the question. Marie said they should go. Marie, Frank and Robert leave them alone.
Ugh this was one of those times i actually felt bad for Ray like he didn't do anything wrong just getting food. There was zero reason for EVERYONE to focus on him to pay attention like he can still hear them while his back is turned but oh well for the plot i guess😂
Look at the size of the place and the amount of people... he was acting awkward for no reason, people noticed. If you were there, you were there to see the thing, he could've waited to eat.
I never got why they couldn’t just let Ray get his food while they were talking. I mean they couldn’t go like five minutes without him, like did they really need all eyes and ears for this? Could they really not have started without him? One person not paying attention shouldn’t have stopped them from talking. if I was there, I would have said to everybody come on just let the man grab his food. They could go five minutes without him. In fact, I would’ve helped him, so everyone stop staring at him. They really could’ve started without him, it could’ve saved the embarrassment for Ray and Debra.
They are there to decide something so you want everybody to pay attention especially people like Ray, you know the guy who recorded sport on the wedding video, Ray doesn't care enough to listen so you have to help him like he is a children. If you would be there and you start helping him making his sandwitch that would be even more weird. People would stare at both of you, they would stare at Ray acting like a children and they would stare at you acting like his parent. It would be even more funny though. :)
I don’t know where you guys are coming from, but most of the people I’ve talked to agreed with me that they could’ve gone five minutes without him n just let him get some food.
He could've just stopped and turned around, it's not really that hard. They stared because he did something weird like put the food back in classic sitcom fashion.
Look at the size of the place and the amount of people... if you were there, you were there to see the thing. Plus he was being awkward for no reason and he could've waited to eat.
They all had the chance to eat something. This is how it's working, they eat something then they speak, they are there to speak not to eat, the food is just an extra, then later they continue eating, he acted weird this is why they staring at him. I would not stare at him except when he starting to put back the food what was in his mouth before, I would stare at him to know from where not to take food.
Frank has a point, the problem with kids today (myself included), is that everything has to be fun or feel good. Sorry, not the way life works sometimes. That’s why young people hate working, because it’s not fun. My uncle once asked me “how’s work?” I responded, “honestly, very boring” and he said, “that’s why it’s called work”
