As a voice teacher this vocal technique is just spot on and I love the way the music layers over itself, the fabrics are such a simple concept and that’s what really makes it so memorable, I love music videos like this.
Amy, this was wonderfully presented. First, the videography from the time count to the end was simply excellent. The whole vibe of the song is ethereal, which is exactly what you intended. It will take on a life of its own. And, your presence and voice are utterly compelling. This is a work of beautiful art. Thank you for this. 🍁
I've been listening to this song on repeat since it came out. I love that you wanted to do something with an ethereal vibe, it's unique and really showcases how amazing your voice is
Amy I simply have no words I’m trying to collect myself at the moment but I’ll be back with other thoughts this is absolutely stunning! I can never get enough of your archangel voice! Masterpiece!
WOW…. 😍🤯 I realized my fork was still mid-air by the end of the song. I hadn’t moved and possibly not even blinked. Forgot all about my dessert! 😂 I have rarely seen something that so rivetingly suited my vibe, and this was just breathtaking. I have fallen in love with your voice, Amy, and have had Ghost of You on repeat for days! I’ve been wanting to work on my vocals for so long and put it on the back burner, being a busy mom, but your music has compelled me to start practicing vocal warmups and test my range and see what I’m capable of. I have so enjoyed trying to sing along to your songs, and my little boys are enjoying hearing me “sing like a mermaid.” 😂 Their bias helps, but your ethereal style is so irresistible and gentle in our home, it’s been so lovely. ❤❤ Such a welcome mood in our home this fall! Well done on the song and video! 🎉
Espectacularmente bello, el mensaje da justo en el alma y corazon de tantos seres humanos que idealizamos un amor perfecto como ese gran ballet sinfónico de tu bella y talentosa voz Amy. ❤😮❤😮
Been obsessed with the song since it came out and the visuals of the the music video captures the ethereal and haunting nature of the song. Something about it just tugs at your heart. Absolutely beautiful!
A beautiful song sung by an angel's ethereal voice that every man would want to be dedicated to him. At least I would. . . Greetings from Thessaloniki Amy!!
The song is sounding heavenly! ...especially the refrain, that is mesmerizing indeed. Thank you for all these emotions, dear Amy ❤. Kind regards from Ukraine.
This video scenario has a triplex of Amys: one in desolate black, the next in bright red, & another in a pale color (white or lavender?). There is couple dancing a duet as well, with first a black, then red background. The woman seems to be hairless or have very short hair, as if she is taking cancer meds, whereas Amy has lush long hair. In both scenarios, at some point, the women are on the ground looking overwhelmed either by emotion or desolation. Of course the music/vocals & scenes are haunting, ethereal, & beautiful in themselves. But we are trying to understand how they fit into one whole. Why is there a transition of Amy from black shadows, to opulent red, to radiant white - then back to red - what is the meaning of this chronology? Or is this song a melding of several different approaches to see which one works best? We tend to think the Amy in white or red matches best with the brilliant sparkle of her tone & luminous appearance. But she is yet young, so she could flexibly experiment with many angles & incarnations. Only she knows what she will be aiming at in her promising future! ❤🤍
@@amy_manford my apologies i recognized your voice on the song generator and it was identical i think you should look into them using your voice without your permission
There is a lot of new and interesting in this song, but everything interesting is not new, and everything new is not interesting. Classic crossover is the most terrible genre because of impotent composers and empty performers.
