Honestly, the last shopping trip I did (2 weeks ago), I spent $100 at the dollar store getting stuff to keep kids busy! Who needs food if the kids are driving you insane?

You can get construction paper at Dollar Tree, since they sell grocery items and home items it's essential shopping. I work for one part time it's been crazy as hell. You can even get flash cards, books teaching kids to write, write in cursive. And learn all kinds of stuff

Social distancing started with social media. Everyone keeps tabs on each other but no one actually calls. No one enjoys the moment for what it is, they live life through their phones.

Your kids are never too young to learn to do chores. If they can stand upright and watch you, they can help you! In fact, when they're young they *want* to help you, it gives a sense of belonging to the family unit. Don't bother with construction paper, teach your kids to cook. You can do sensory things like make pizza from scratch, make breakfast (kids can learn to scramble an egg and make french toast), smoothies, etc. Even if you're broke and on SNAP, you can do this together. It teaches so much: following directions, basic safety, paying attention, using senses... and the sense of accomplishment is a reward as well as eating!

Man I wish I could feel some of the boredom others have been talking about. I have a house full of boys home, one of which is disabled, and was just laid off. In between the cooking, laundry, kids screaming, and messes I'm trying to figure out how to keep paying for stuff now. Already had to spend a butt load of money just to get groceries and essentials before the hoarders cleaned it all out. Had to drive every damn where just to find basics, which was scary, but what choice do you have. So now I have at least a months worth of necessities here, and spent money I didn't have to spare really, because people are too selfish for their own good, just to sit here and try to keep up with the exhaustion of just getting through the day..when is this boredom and rest time coming..man I'd love to sit in front of a camera dressed nice with a 🍸 cocktail..calgon take me away. A nap and a bath seems to be the best goal of the week right now.. And if you can relate to any of this, well God bless you!! Stay safe all & here's to better days ahead!

Okay... how does everyone not have that kink? I mean, who wants to be touched by random people and not wash their hands? Sure, we have to do it more often now and we're supposed to keep a bigger distance than usual... Also, I think the courting would go more like so: One person is sitting on one park bench, six feet away from another park bench with another person. They have books in their hands yes, but instead of reading for themselves, they read to each other, out loud - but not loud enough for anyone further away to here. They purposefully pick out bits of the texts they have in hand that are supposed to have double meanings and connotations and exchange a wider variety of facial expressions. And if they really want to make things get steamy... they could always just... make a transportable sauna- I mean... use their phones to exchange dirty photos and videos.... People do that already anyway, so it really shouldn't be a problem. Also, when you think about it... this makes practising abstinence so much easier for all the Christian dudes/dudettes out there. Maybe God really does "work in mysterious ways." And there's a smaller risk of getting STIs or ending up pregnant. I wonder if they'll tell us to keep at 6 feet of each other at all times even in the house. Imagine house terrible that would be for newlyweds. XD
