Trump will hate jail because he wont have any say in what happens there. He will be in a cell, by himself, with hours and hours of contemplation time, no phone, and no audience (if he goes to jail, which I highly doubt will happen).
Considering that we is an ex president, going to jail could be at his residence, not the real jail. He would be confined to his home, not able to do rallies in person, going out etc... I suspect he wouldn't go to a rail jail, but I wish he would!

The Democrats can then fundraise off Trump's reign of terror while reminding everyone what they get for not supporting Corporate Democrats. This herds normies back to the Right side of the DNC and they can blame the Left for trying to help the working class. All the donors are happy with their tax breaks, deregulation, while opposition to the duopoly is crushed and Democrats can say UKRAINE and the Israeli Genocide is Trump's fault. How american news media indulges the kind of bs dance around the words like Tim Scott does there is something I will never understand. This wouldn't fly in europe. The would call him out and kick him off the air in my country with some sharp remarks about the ridiculousness and him not being a serious person to talk to.
Often, journalists are soft because they don't want to lose access to interviewees. Politicians and other powerful figures won't grant interviews to people they know are going to really grill them. How does THAT go down in Europe?
