What a tragedy this amazingly talented girl is..... She gave up everything for alcohol and later, drugs. Why Amy, Why???? She was an alcoholic long before she met her husband, whom everybody blames for her destruction. Sure, introducing her to drugs and doing it with her, really destroyed her too, but she conquered the drug habit all by herself eventually! Strong girl! But she couldn't conquer the alcohol addiction. She even drank openly on stage, taking sips in breaks between her songs and sometimes during a song. Nobody stopped her, coz it would have caused an embarrasing scene and the performance always came first. She died of alcohol poisoning long after she stopped having contact with her then ex-husband. A beautiful, stubborn, amazingly talented, lost girl. How sad. Life could have been so good for her, had she been helped to overcome her alcohol addiction and the spychological issues that caused her to escape into a bottle all the time, since before she became famous. I always wonder what her real life/family story is. Before she became a famous singer....... what happened??
Eureka Cannabis I hate to say but I agree with you. In late 2006 when she was sober she sounded really into the songs because it was fully fresh for her and Blake wasn't in her life yet again and she wasn't bored to death singing the album repeatedly. She sounds great here but she's sober and missing that vivid soul that she had when she was drunk in shows from 2007. (4/8/19)
