Throwback to how it used to be. Still like this mate, you just haven't endorsed yourself in it recently. It'll always be there so many good new bands ready to explode
I am 57 and thank goodness for this band. I really thought we had descended into beige blandness and the future of music was not looking good. I am pumping this out loud in my hotel room and i now feel energised and ready to start my day.
Very good. Great even. Not exceptional such as Mike Love and the Full Circle band, but more than deserving of their quick rise in popularity and long list of high end gigs upcoming or played recently. In the years since this late 2010s gig that showcases their stage presence and tight playing. They've been working hard with loads of shows, kicking goals and seem unstoppable (fingers crossed they keep chugging along, coz this is when many bands fold, but I have hope that they'll pull through) Even with the thing that shall not be named, absolutely destroying 50%+ income for working, touring musicians. While social media muso' s worked from home with some becoming millionaires. Without ever getting on stage. Let alone touring!
For a rowdy crowd they were very well behaved and respectful of the band. The security guy on the left made it seem like this was no big deal. Bumps and bruises but it looked like a great time.
I'm 40 and Amy has a vibe similar too my generations power frontperson Karen O. I totally feel the Darby/Kathleen Hanna/Early Nick Cave/ Iggy/Cosmic Psychos energy from her. The band need recognition too. Truly a machine. Dechlan is Eddie Van Halen, Pat Smear, Bob Mould all in one and the drummer, Gus is seriously channeling Tobi Vail. Rad vibe
Reminds Me Of Those Long and Beautiful Battle Of The Bands, Everybody went and checked it out that was in school , Race ,creed ,nationality? it was an absolute full mix and it Wasn't even obsessed about...Something of community and music tied us together then ! We were Animals is Senior Year so We had to earn a little respect and I earnestly Asked hour resi StraightXedge kids to put on us in the shows, they thought the band would get high or drunk and flake out you know lol, maybe they knew all habits die hard...These Guys and Girls and (Insert indistinguishables name here) we're incredible! First time in a long time a fuckin Modern Punk band gives me that visceral experience! You're lying to yourself if this Band doesn't make you feel,You've already Died!
Goddamn this is my favorite fucking shit to have just stumbled upon what the fuck guys punk isn't dead or what like goddamn that show looks fun as fuckoff!
@@kikidee3204 Yes your right I got over & under the fence in the early 90s. You have to be great full though that we still have Glastonbury in this cotton wool society we live in today. My advice is make the most of it just like I am still doing at 54 because it won’t last forever.
