Society has become to inane that we dilute the terms "booksmart" and "streetsmart" into one. Honestly, being streetsmart is a very overlooked trait and is overshadowed by people who can recite the definitions of various words. As well, I would disagree with how you commend his parents for raising him, as in my eyes he appear to be rather pretentious, as if he thinks everyone should be as booksmart as he is.
