Idk bro, I think I'd have to pass on this one. You can get a decent budget bench for just a little bit more. The incline adjustment looks pretty sketchy IMO. Loving the new space though! It's really coming together!
Nice video brother was really great and informative plus a great input on this budget adjustable bench. Plus I’m getting this for my friends birthday he is building a garage gym himself too so this will definitely help big time. Keep up the dope content bro 💯💪🤜🏻💥🤛🏻
Oh right on!! This is a nice starter bench to get started! Then down the line Rep Fitness is by far the best of the best in adjustable benches for a good price point!
@@LukesGarageGym yeah bro for sure those are good equipment ideas I have been showing your channel for some good equipment ideas and he is impressed on how much you can get good decent equipment for a good price plus he likes your channel too dude 💯👍
Adjustable bench is not really where I like to save my money. This would probably do the job for beginners, but I usually recommend something like the Rep Ab3100 as the most budget adjustable bench i would feel comfortable with. But $80 isn’t bad considering the Amazon basics bench that used be $40-$50 are about that now
I feel that bro!! Most times you go budget with a flat bench, which a lot like the tru grit one!! Honestly this ain’t bad. I don’t fear for my life doing lighter DB work or using it with cable work! A lot of people would like this if they want to start out at home and are very new to fitness!! But yeah, REP is really the top of the line for your primary adjustable bench!
@@LukesGarageGym I understand that. They wanted me to review this but I went with the bike instead. That’s pretty solid for the price but i don’t have the bench. I am sure it’s ok for accessory work. As Seasoned lifters we often forget there are people that can’t bench 100 or 150 pounds yet.
I reviewed this piece of ABSOLUTE TRASH! There are great budget benches out there, not this one lol. 100% didn't feel safe incline benching on it. Just my thoughts.
@@LukesGarageGym Yeah, I've got video of the rear brace on the one I got not sitting straight and looking like it's about to "GO" So Maybe I just got a defect
@@NoFate247 OH MY GOD!! I for sure will never use this thing for anything heavy. Mainly wanted to see what it could do and test it to the limit. Anything that says 660 lb weight capacity usually is not meant for super super heavy. Honestly will sit it in my second rack for back work mainly. Just nice to have it there so you have all your stations set up without having to move stuff LOL 😂
See, when it comes to benches…. I’ll spend money and make sure I feel solid AF. I wouldn’t even consider this piece, potential of having a bench break and getting injured is a big no for me. I already hurt myself lifting heavy weight due to just being old 😂
Yeah bro 10000% you want a tank for a bench when you are trying to push yourself!! This is for sure for people who are legit just starting off lifting and need something to get them going then once they start getting more into It, they can upgrade!
People in comments are a little negative towards cheaper equipment. Many people training in home gyms are in like 8th-grade, have little cash flow, and a Rouge bench is overkill since probably rarely get 3 good weeks in a row anyway. Good review.
Yeah they just feel like they can save for a while and get something that’s more durable, but honestly this works just fine for the 1/4 of the price. For anyone starting out, then its absolutely perfect! Thanks brother!
