An afternoon of 'S.S.S.'s?? Shrewsbury, 11th December 2021 

An afternoon visit to see Black5 , 44871 with The Birmingham and Shrewsbury Christmas Express.
An interesting place, but on editing my video , I noticed how much of the interest began with the letter 'S'.
First Shrewsbury with its Splendid Station front. on the railway, there are Still plenty of Semaphores in use, operated by two Signal boxes.
Then the main attrction of the day , a Steam loco, with lots of Steam.
While waiting for thr return to leave, a walk along the Swollen river Severn.
Finally, no freight today , but no end of Sprinters!
But, Sadly no Sun on this Saturday.
