Today im at Circus Circus to ride the all new SpongeBob ride! SpongeBobs Crazy Carnival Ride is the newest installment to the lineup of attractions at Circus Circus and it’s just a few steps away from the iconic Adventuredome. Also I do a lap around Adventuredome to show you how the park is shaping up.

When I went in 2021 they wouldn't do a pay per ride you had to do a ride band for like 45 dollars and it wasn't worth it just for two roller coasters i wanted to ride

I couldn’t find anything on Circus Circus’ website about SpongeBob, not a single mention. I also googled and nothing comes up about tickets. Any idea where to buy tickets in advance?

@@nicholasvogelgesang9125For all day access to theme park it’s that price. The SpongeBob ride is a separate fee that’s not included with the all day access to the theme park. So every time you ride it it’ll cost you money. I’m a local. Live 20 minutes away from Circus Circus.

Funny how “everything is expensive” in Vegas. When I first went to Vegas many decades ago, the reason most people went was for the low cost vacation. Anyone but me remember the $3 buffet? 😁

As someone who lives near Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America, I am a little jealous of Circus Circus as this ride has much better theming than anything we have (with the exceptions of the Log Chute and Ghostblasters.

Glad you made it to Adveturdome! Several years ago the local Girl Scout council had a cookie incentive that my Troop participated in. We had unlimited ride passes and a party area with food. It was a blast! We rode everything several times. I hope they bring Fright Dome back.

Canyon Blaster was the first roller coaster I ever went on. My family would go to Vegas often and we always stayed at Circus Circus. Glad it's getting some TLC

The guy who did fright dome started a few escape rooms here in town a SAW , IT , and BLAIR WITCH escape rooms. Some places on the mountain in the dome you can see left over track portions from the water ride

Clearly their pricing is too high, the place looked like a ghost town from your footage. They need to lower the price and as you mentioned, let you pay per attraction for us coaster nerds that don't want to shell out 60 bucks for 2 credits.

I agree, I remember when it only used to be 40 dollars and when they still had individual ride tickets. As someone who lives in Vegas, season passes would be amazing.

El Loco is indeed loco! And Canyon Blaster is way more fun than it should be for an old Arrow looper. I would actually recommend paying the $60 for a few rides on them if you haven't done them before. It's literally the cost of playing 6 hands of Blackjack at most of the casinos out there.

It's great to see new things added to Las Vegas. I agree the price is high for one, non-thrill ride. It seems like it should be included in the Adventure Pass. Or if you ride Spongebob attraction, be able to upgrade to an Adventure pass for additional $25 so you can ride the coasters. Add free play for the Arcade games, adding more retro games, pinball machines, and other shooting games.

Honestly Adventure Dome pricing doesn't seem that bad. Yes it needs to be updated but at $60, you get two decent coasters that you can ride multiple times plus a handful of other rides. $20 for the Sponge Bob thing is a little steep though.

When I moved here in 2018 I went on El Loco for $12 they used to sell per ride tickets but stopped. I went a few weeks ago thinking to just go on the 2 coasters but we just left because we also didn't need a full day pass.

They didn't announce who they are going with for the ride but I think Vekoma is going to be on this one. The coaster they built in Australia metches the description of different launch tracks. Car could spin 360° once or twice then zoom off you go. Coaster can also have 4 trains 2 per track at the same time once 1st train passes seftey checkpoint. However they announced March 1st that construction to resume on the ride Monday March 4th, 2024 and ride to open 2025 now. I'm keeping fingers crossed it's a clone of the Vekoma coaster opening this year in Australia.

It used to be such a value back in the day. My parents would ALWAYS stop by for us and pay for the whole family. Now its become so expensive, they rather go to a resort with a nice pool like Mandalay Bay or MGM Grand. Let the grandkids have a pool day. Treat them out to a nice dinner in Vegas. Maybe take them to arcade or bowling. The pricing is so high, they won't even consider it. Especially being from California(a state with amazing Amusement parks)and Vegas getting a ton of tourism from its neighbor, you would think Circus Circus might want to reconsider there pricing.

Vegas has changed a lot. I was there last year and everything was pretty expensive. It used to be a weekend getaway for people in LA and was pretty cheap, with a lot of cheap or even free things to do with all the shows along the strip as well, like the Treasure Island show etc. Now it seems like they charge for every little thing, the hotels all charge for parking now also. The food also isn't cheap, tried to go to a buffet but it was over $80 per person, so we just went and got all you can eat shrimp at Red Lobster.

Adventuredome desperately need a family coaster. Maybe they could remove the carnival games and squeeze in a meandering Vekoma family coaster (I'm not sure if they have the room).

They don't let you record video, but let you take photos which tend to blur easier in low light and while in motion. They aren't thinking at all... Videos are free publicity.

It's no worse than paying 174 for a one day ticket to disney,, waite 90 minutes for most rides or buy a lightning lane for an extra fee. Everywhere you go these days they nickel and dime you .nothing is cheap anymore

Surely, there are much better attractions for free at Circus Circus... I guess sexy women swallowing swords in bikinis on trapeze 50 feet above you wasn't as cool as a Spongebob ride to review. Says everything....I bet it was cute.
