Basic method of getting a quite case is good ventilation, and many high quality low noise fans running slowly. Modern PC systems with high end processors and graphics cannot survive in a case with small openings. Fan choice is extremely important and best to over spec the CPU cooler so its fan(s) can run slow. Do not skimp on the power supply as the internal power supply fan can cause excess noise if running near max output.

Built similar set ups and putting another exhaust fan on the back end up top did wonders for cooling when using Air coolers only.

Is there any problem with air coolers? Id like to buy the noctua cause it's considered the best but space seems tight

@@hasantylou7670 if it can fit in this case ( most of them do, slight doubt for the D15 ) there is no problem with air coolers. But as said earlier, you might want to add an exhaust fan at the top-back if you are cooling an I7/R7 or bigger.

if u put 3080 in to u need a gpu holder?

@ If you mount with the tubes up, that might be the case, mine is mounted tubes down and that would not fit with a 360 and the cage

@@nabronator374 That is definitely the way in my case (pun intended:)) Regardless this case is amazing and I just hoped someone would point to the fact that the cage has two positions.

I just built in this case a few days ago with a 360 rad in front, you will need tubes at the top if you want to keep the drive cage. Using the pure loop 360 the tubes wouldn't even reach the bottom around the gpu though, and I assume this is likely the "case" for most 360 aio's.

I bought a Be quiet! PSU and it lasted me years so i took a chance on the silent base 802. It was extremely well built an looks awesome. Also compared to building in corsair cases building in it was a breeze.

Just said thst of the rgb stril.

Get it I bought this and a dark rock 4 to upgrade from my ibuypower and it's been well worth it

I actually have the black 500DX and the black pure Rock 2. Both work really well and look very clean together:)

Is fantastic, airflow is good, easy to build and really quiet. Also the rgb is good, no more software issues. The rgb is all controlled by the case front panel

I also got a pure rock 2 black a week ago, aiming to get this case as soon as I find an affordable one in my country :D

I was thinking the same. It might work if the 24 pin connector was a right angle off the MB but it'd be horrible if it was pointing straight up. Also, my Seasonic PSU has a hard material wrapped around the cables near the 24 pin plug and that absolutely will not bend. This L-bend looks like a cheap alternative to using rubber grommets.

I would like to see it with a 5.25 bay. I still sometimes use discs. And plastic instead of glass as a precaution for children.

That cable works for me, but the button on the front can mess with RGB software

my dogs ate two of the rubber isolator mounts, after they fell off the screw pins on my dark base 900 pro v2...I'll be needing some of that rubber for my build too... lol

When you do that with cheap hardware it can reduce value of the videos.

@@hokiturmix how? Not suggesting you feature the build process, just have a 5 sec shot at the end with it powered on. Black motherboard, factory cooler and non-rgb RAM. No emphasis on the hardware, just on the powered on case.

I have this case, it is pretty nice and not very expensive. I like to go a little above the cheapest spec usually and smaller but this build is going to have fully populated PCIe with a 3900x so I figured a few more $$ on a decent case was worth it.

many tests have shown that an AiO in the Front does not really affect the temps of the other parts. so I don't see the Problem with that

@@penedrador True. As long as the air being blown in is cooler than the air in the case, then the airflow will have a positive cooling effect. But you need to get some airflow across the GPU to push its warm air out the back of the case. If using an intake AIO on the front, I think some high pressure fans would be better.

I'll stick with exhausting hot air. Yea I keep hearing it doesn't matter, but my gut tells me that the cooler you keep the insides, the cooler the end result... Heck I see in summer, my rig is hotter because I can only get the room so cool when it's 108f outside... those extra degrees make a difference in the rig's temps, so I am not going to add to it if I can help it. Also trying this time around, to like the AIO enough to not go back to my custom loop, too much work, I would rather use the rig and not mess with it because it is never perfect LOL... but I just might because of the tinker-addiction. Then I would have to put my 360 up front.

@@tzviasegal3003 you could exhaust with just fans and still put the AiO in front😁 Your CPU and Water temp will thank you, the impact on GPU temps is nearly negligible

What's your fan arrangement? If you leave it at stock, the 2 exhaust fans will steal all the air away from your GPU, making it work its fans harder and louder. I'm also wondering what the seal is like around the TG panel in this case as I don't see any cushioning around it.

That’s the situation for any airflow case. The GPU is loud, not the case.
