Ida i am so very proud of you for taking this trip so far from home. What a blessing your friend is and I very much enjoyed his music and singing. His dog was so cool too. What a beautiful place he lives in. Willa and Litty did so good. Plus no matter how nervous you were, you did so great in your travels. I so enjoyed your video. Your truly stepping out of your comfort zone and what a preparation for going to see Lissette. I’ve had my two youngest grand children this past weekend and we worked in their annual Christmas projects. They did such a fabulous job and used a medium they had not done before …. They are so excited for their parents to see them at Christmas. Plus I cooked a salmon dinner. T was a long night on Saturday but worth am every minute. At 75 now, I don’t bounce back as fast lol Today the 18th would have been my parents 79th anniversary. The 20th Munson will be 49 I’ll be cooking a pot roast for him, 8 all total will be here. Great start to your trip. Jon is a true New England treasure. People like him are getting harder to find and when you do make sure you keep them a treasured friend. Found your channel from your visit. I use to have an all wood homebuilt teardrop. That little trailer was dragged around the US on a months long trip. Only dropped my HHR millage by 1 to 2 MPG.Loved that little trailer. Am now modifying an old bus to sell my condo and travel till I'm dead or stuck in a facility

Hello Ida. This was such a cool video!! Such beautiful scenery!! I've never been to upstate New York but I've seen lots of pictures and videos(this one included) Oh my gosh your Gentleman friend is so cool!! What a nice man, and his house?? So very cool, so many interesting things to look at!! You're doing a great job in facing your fears about being away from home!! That's a huge undertaking, especially with pets on board!! It's 2AM now Monday morning as I hunt and peck through the keys typing, Good Morning Lovely Lady. I am proud of you Miss Ida. I don't know where else your trip will take you but it is important to get away sometimes. I'll be registering that old bike soon now that she's back together and running well. I had to fix some of my older wiring for lights and I'm still thinking about changing the headlight to a round one. Whether it was the ranch, the farm or the wood shop I've always made time to get away. Even when I was living in this camper while working out of state I'd escape on a bike in the evening and on weekends. The crying was familiar as Queen does it for such a long time even though she can go anywhere in the pickup's cab. Mouser my shop cat in Montana had me thinking I'd lost him during a move. As we were packing out of the last shop I rented to move to our home he ran out of the shop. The kids and tried for hours it seems to catch him but we couldn't, finally he made a dash inside to his litter box and we caught him. Cats are the darndest critters, the whole of Montana outdoors and he had to use his own little box. At the end of the month I will be done here with all my projects and heading south for the winter. This camper isn't built for cold weather and I can go one winter without snowshoe camping. I'll be thinking of you often my Love and I'll be better about watching your videos in a more timely manner as well as writing more often. Keeping up with you and all your fur babies is important to me as they are all such a big part of you and the Lady you are. Being selfish I watched your friend playing the guitar and I miss it, and I cuss my inept right hand which keeps me from playing any music now. Be safe in your travels and remember those animals are tougher then you! You can escape to a truck stop shower for 25 minutes for self preservation and a shower. Being unwashed for days , bad weather, breakdowns , the paranoia of being in small towns, being hosted by eccentric strangers, eating gas station chili dogs . But good people like your guy there heal all the past suffering instantly, and you are good for a couple more days. Idea: Ponder covering the solar panels with some foam and a tarp to prevent possible hail damage . Also , McMaster-Carr Co. sells bolts that are rated to not snap like the Chinese ones. I ordered some that hold down boilers. B-3 grade I think it was. Great idea to carry water pump etc. I'm totally gonna do that! AAA will tow you out (to prevent roadside zombie attacks) and then the AAA certified dude in the backwoods garage will install the hard to find part, and Bam. Camp out in his lot and serenade him while he wrenches away. I assume you're going to Lisettes? That's gonna be a hoot.
