We all love Gizmo so much. It's hard to imagine a world without him. I know there's nothing we can say or do that will lessen your loss but you gave him so much love and such a wonderful life. That little bundle of fur was so cute and he loved you both so much. I'll never forget the first time I watched one of your videos how he rested his head on Jerry's arm. Please take all the time you need to be able to grief the loss of Gizmo. Gizmo was a huge part of your show but even more so in your daily lives. The void that is so sudden takes the longest to come to terms with if you ever can. I am so sorry for your loss, we never have them long enough.💔

So sorry to hear about Gizmo, I'm sure my 13 year old Lucy bulldog who passed 18 months ago will look out for him. She loved all the animals she ever met. I still miss her but just like Giz she had a great life and made ours better for being in ours❤
We are building a cottage on Kelleys Island, Lake Erie. We plan to furnish it, as much as possible, with items from places like this and thrift stores. Both the Kelleys Island and Put-in-Bay Historical Societies run thrift shops and we hope to be able to buy things we need from them.

First, I have to say I was and still am very sorry to hear about Gizmo. He was a great part if your videos and I know how well loved he was. I enjoyed this vodeo and it always amazes me at how people keep so many items. I do think their prices are a bit high.
I love the antique malls!!! I have a couple of friends with booths, they do quite well! They even drive around & get “stuff” off the curb & sell it! BTW I NEED that swan decoy!!!

Antique stores are the ways of remembering the past. Memories that you might have forgotten will come back once you walk past an item. The same will be for Gizmo, every time I see a Dachshunds we will remember him.
I am reading in the comments section about your sweet Gizmo. My heart just aches for both of you. I know Gizmo had Cushing disease just like my Cookie. Cookie passed away one month ago today on 8/28. She was 15. As our pups get older , we know those days with them are precious. Gizmo was loved by all his fans. Now Gizmo is an Angel. 🐾🐾
We have a Dobie too and contrary to their reputation, he is the sweetest dog! He is our 7th rescue dog and we also have a Great Dane mix too currently. Hope u may b able to get another soon.

We don’t get over to LEESBURG very often. We went on a food search today and ended up at Mama Mia’s Pizzeria. When we went in and smelled garlic, we knew it was on. Food was great.

It is a sad time for you but Gizmo will suffer no more. Our beloved pets can never be “replaced” but I am sure that Gizmo will help in finding a pet that will help fill the void you now have in your lives. 😢
My heart is broken for both of you in losing your sweet Gizmo. Animals teach us how to love unconditionally, as that is what they give to us. When they leave, they take a big chunk of our hearts with them….he will be waiting for you over that rainbow bridge….. hope that thought gives comfort during this difficult time…. what a lucky pup he was to have lived his life with you and your family….❤️

Great video and yes that is the bottom of a milking machine. They were heavy when empty, but real heavy when full. They were scrubbed by my mom after each day's milking. Blessings to you this week.😇🐕🦺

Great video. We really enjoyed you taking us along on your trip to the Traditions Antique Mall. You found so many interesting things. A note about the sharks teeth. We used to find them on the beach often when the sun hit them exactly right because they are so shiny in the sun. Also, when we built a home and was laying the driveway the layer of 'base' was full of sharks teeth and other pieces from the ocean. It was like a treasure hunt in our own backyard. Thank you for all your hard work making these great videos.

At minute 3:00 when Jerry’s wearing the tribal mask, Linda remarked that the mask would probably scare Gizmo… So we guess that adorable, cuddly, sweet Gizmo passed shortly after this video was made… Our hearts and prayers go out to you. Gizmo always wanted to be a part of the action and was always close by to his mom and dad. You can say he was “waiting for a treat after the show…” but he really just wanted to be at your side. We’ll all see you when we get there Gizmo (on the other side of the Rainbow bridge in heaven….what a joyous reunion it will be!). Hugs and prayers to you both

You mentioned Willie Mays. I have a story. I used to work in Atherton for the telephone co. Willie Mays home was in Atherton. A fellow telephone worker went to install his phones.
