Emily donating her eggs, her eggs getting stolen, her eggs getting impregnated with Wren’s sperm, Emily’s eggs getting surgically implanted into Alison, Alison being pregnant with Wren and Emily’s babies (because, of course, twins) then her and Emily falling in love and getting married, and raising these kids together that have Emily’s genes but were birthed by Alison, SOUNDS LIKE BAD. FAN FICTION. I can’t believe the writers actually, un-ironically rolled with that.

People were really rushing and rushing him as if this wasn't so much effort and so time consuming and he probably wont be able to watch the show again for years. This is so iconic and amazing of him and I'm so glad that his effort grew his channel so much.

toby becoming a police officer without any training and then abusing his power is literally the most realistic aspect of this whole show

The funniest part of this, is like half of this could have been avoided if jason and allison knew their mothers maiden name

emily being the only one flopping in her 20s despite having been a gay bartender in california for the past five years is the most unrealistic stunt this show has ever pulled

It's honestly hilarious that *"Caleb was a reincarnated teenager from 1918 for a little bit in season 4"* isn't even one of the most unbelievable plot details in PLL. Like it's almost forgettable with all the other crazy shit that went down.

If Aria was the bad guy the whole time it would make sense that she's the one saying shhh in the intro all along-

I think what makes this even more iconic/chaotic is the fact that the writers didn't need to make the plots as insanely complicated as they did. They were their own worst enemies in this.

I loved seeing Mona with her fake cop boyfriend in Paris because when the cop first showed up to arrest Alex Drake I was like "there is no way there is finally a competant cop in Rosewood" and I was RIGHT

The Alex twist could've been SO GOOD if it had been hinted at earlier!! Like for a couple of seasons we see the girls together, but Spencer sometimes has no memory of some of those things... and maybe Spencer could've been with Caleb, but Alex wants to be with Toby and manipulates Caleb to break up with Spencer and she has NO idea what's going on! It would've been amazing .. But in all honestly ARIA SHOULD'VE BEEN A!!

The way it took 6 YEARS for us to find out what happened in ONE NIGHT. Absolutely messy and iconic. (Plot ditches and all)

My favorite thing is that after the dollhouse Spencer was having severe flashbacks, couldn’t fall asleep, and was afraid of her bedroom. Hanna was the same and opted to redo her whole room, and Emily was taking her anger and fear at the gun range. But Aria…took shitty pics???? I swear to god all the As/writers gave Spencer these souls crushing plots and Aria gets her hair dyed

every time you say "take a guess who did x" I would honestly try to guess, and would always be way off. this show is wild

“The more layers we scratch away, the more issues there are… so we are not gonna scratch.” Mike you’ve summed up the entire plot of PLL perfectly.

I am convinced that Mike has done more thinking about this show than its writers

That moment when Alison is apparently a redeemable person but Mona isn't?? Alison blackmailed people left and right, treated them like crap, and almost drove Paige to suicide but she's allowed to "get better" and have a happy-ish ending but not Mona? Mona definitely did some terrible stuff but she also had severe mental issues that Alison herself helped cause, she also genuinely tried to help the group and wanted to be their friend after everything that happened but got pushed out at every opportunity. Why couldn't they let just her get better and have a decent ending?

"She had high goals and she achieved none of them." Same.

Regarding Ezria, Mike was the only one with a braincell, he decked him and dipped, didn't show up to the wedding, good for him

The fact that Spencer and Jason are both half siblings AND cousins is just so funny to me. The show was such an iconic mess! I just love it!

Ezra was already bad but then the writers made it SO MUCH WORSE when they wrote in the plot line of him dating ALISON AND KNOWING ARIA WAS UNDERAGE BEFORE EVER MEETING HER?????? The only “justification” for the relationship was that he didn’t know she was underage/ his student when they met, why did they make the choice to write that out and then still have them get married please god make it make sense

Core childhood memory is my friends and I getting freaked tf out at sleep-away camp because we heard a branch tapping the cabin and it reminded us of Jenna. We then took turns singing the theme to try and ward off Jenna’s evil spirit. What a time to be alive.

out of everything that happened in this shitshow of a finale, wren being turned into a necklace is what really kept me up for weeks

The funniest thing is there’s actually a way that they could’ve fixed the plot holes of CeCe being A that would’ve pretty closely resembled the book if they had revealed that Charles/Charlotte was the one that was killed and her body was discovered and would explain why they got accidentally identified as Alison because she could have looked like Alison and the DNA could’ve been close enough and they revealed that the CeCe Drake that has been running around since we first met her was actually Bethany Young and they took her identity? It would honestly solve everything.

fun fact: jason and spencer are technically full siblings not half siblings bc twins share the same dna and they share a father! i tried to chart the dilaurentis-hastings family as best i could jason & spencer: biological full siblings, cousins (twin moms, same dad) alison & spencer: biological half siblings, cousins (twin moms, different dads) jason & alison: biological half siblings, raised full siblings, cousins (twin moms, different dads) alison & charlotte: biological half siblings, cousins (twin moms, different dads) spencer & charlotte: half siblings (same mom, different dad) spencer & melissa: half siblings, raised full siblings (different mom, same dad) the family tree was already confusing enough but then you add in the twin bullshit and it gets even more insane

The amount of money I would pay for someone to remake the whole of this with Aria being A the entire time and finishing the Aria being recognised by Eddie Lamb plot line is probably more money than anyone should be spending on PLL

Honestly, the baby twins did slay their roles. They barely did anything and are still my favorite characters.

My ongoing issue is if they had Charles put in radley before they moved to Rosewood, then how did Peter Hastings hook up with Jessica to create Jason?

Aria as A would have been amazing but tbh I wish above all else it was Ezra. He was writing a BOOK. What if he became obsessive, or wanted to make the book more sensational so he started to craft this master plotline. Or he needed to get more reactions and drama for the book tour/movie adaption/etc. That would have been so good, and played into the fact he blatantly manipulated Aria. Sigh. What could have been.

The fact that I completely forgot about Sara Harvey in PLL just shows she wasn't giving anything 😂

PLL was an absolutely unhinged and crazy show, but I wish it would've been more tame concerning the plot. I find that there are too many unnecessary deaths, useless characters, people being A... The show started out as Allison being an absolute terror and mysteriously disappearing and then 4 girls being tormented by an anonymous stalker, THAT'S ICONIC!! I loved the idea of Allison being a genius evil teen who has dirt on everyone and that she eventually messed with the wrong person. I loved the idea of Ezra being A because it makes sense and it's super dark and messed up. Already having an established reputation as a predator, Allison could've turned on him and threatened to go to the police and tell on him, so he decided to try and kill her, and then he gets the idea to write a book and becomes A. I also love the Aria is A theory which would work perfectly with Ezra. I absolutely hated the Alex plotline and I wasn't a fan of the Charles/Cece reveal either (although the "two Allison's" in the crusty yellow top is iconic, such a slay).

I don't think people appreciate how well done this series is. I've never watched an episode of this show, not once, and I could still probably recite the entire plot because of how well it's summarised and presented. If schools taught in this format, everybody would get A grades.

Also loving the fact that Jenna believed Spencer wasn't Spencer over the possibility of Spencer changing perfumes 💀

Upon my 3rd (?) rewatch of this series, I am just now noticing the Ravenswood/Twilight-blue filter on Miss Grumwald's photo, and she's the only one with that filter 💀💀

If Bethany has pushed Toby’s mother off the rooftop, than in the same year Alison were a baby as well. But in the flashbacks Alison meets Toby’s mother when she was a teenager but doesn’t make sense if his mother died years ago when they were all kids

You’re really uniquely talented at sharing your excitement, and that’s such an underrated ability. it feels blasphemous that ali wasn’t the final villain, 13 year old sasha was eating everyone up. 15 year old alison dilaurentis had grown adults afraid of her. for them to ignore sasha’s ability to play a truly evil for no reason character, disappear her, bring her back and make her spineless oh my gOD fumbled, worst character arc, a waste. sasha, troian, and janel were the best actors on the show, they ruined alison, mona was already a (the best a) and they needed to wrap it up so they looked at troian and said “how can we use her without committing to making one of the liars the villain” and we all knew they ruined alison’s character bc sasha wasn’t the same size she was when she was 13!

The original plot was for Aria to be A.. imagine if Aria and Jason were together and orchestrated the whole thing.. Aria DiLaurentes.. AD

I just have one question, why didn't Ali's mom not realize that Ali was found in a different spot in the yard? She was "found" under the gazebo during renovation when Mya lived there, but Jessica buried her in the front yard where Cece hit her? She should of known the body wasn't Allison
