We just went to the Petrified forest and Winslow. We tried to camp at Homolovi but we just couldn't take the wind and heat. We went on to Flagstaff and got a room. We loved the west visitors center and especially the crystal forest, newspaper rock and puerco pueblo. Can't wait to go back, but will do it in the spring or fall next time.

We love that State Park, and stayed in that exact spot you stayed in. We stayed during the end of monsoon season so we got to see a storm system pass by while we stayed there. The other thing was there was a night were they had the telescope open and it’s so dark there we could see the milkyway in the sky

Good adventure days. I love how you always get out and see a lot of interesting places as you go. I stayed at Homolavi St Pk a couple of years ago and thought it was a very nice campground. Interesting archeological sites too I was there in November and the weather was perfect, but windy. I got a kick out of hearing the burros braying! Thanks for sharing the crater and Petrified Forest NP. I have not visited yet.

Enjoyed the video like always. FYI, the crater you visited was also visited by Elvis Presley years ago. Most people didn’t know that he and his entourage drove from his home in Palm Springs, CA to Graceland in Memphis. One time Elvis decided he’d drive the bus himself because he’d driven trucks prior to his fame. And he drove the group to that crater as it was a bucket list item for him.

We enjoyed our visit to the petrified forest last year. I hadn't been since i was a kid. I was honestly thinking Harold was setting Makayla up for a breaking news report there for a 2nd.

We've been to those places many times. We stayed at the Meteor Crater RV Park. Recommend watching the movie Starman with Jeff Bridges. It was filmed at Meteor Crater.

Great video, that is an awesome area of the country. We also stayed there at that park for the same reasons, a very cool park. I follow this diesel guy on RU-vid and he recommends archoil ar9100, we use it and have no issues. On the truck in Winslow, I was surprised you all didn't highlight the @brazenbrits sticker

Nice video..just a couple of things. First I have contacted lippert and furrion and they seem to be another planet when I ask them about the flat 50 amp chord you use. I dont even think their reps know it exist so they cannot respond to any questions about it. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Second about the regeneration, the ram Cummins allows for longer times between regeneration's as a rule. As you know rules can change based on driving local or towing... fuel additives or no additives etc etc. If Ford is that aggressive in their regeneration process then you have to live with that.

Yep- The power cable we use is a prototype that has been tested. Not available to the general market just yet so I’m not surprised they haven’t heard about it. On the second piece, I was just curious if other Ford owners experienced the same since I’m new to Ford. Or if it was something different about the HO motor of 23-24

Try using the 2 additives from Archoil recommended by Arod from PowerStroke Tech Talk with Arod. AR6500 diesel treatment every 5K miles, and AR6500 fuel system cleaner every fill up. They are designed for taking care of the CP4 fuel pump, injectors, and reduced regens on the exhaust side.

I have a 2024 F-450 as well, that replaced my 2022 F-350 DRW. Your F-450 has a 4.30 final drive. It is perfectly fine to tow with all 10 gears. The 450’s are designed to stay in peak torque while towing at the 65-75 mph range. This will keep it in 10th gear most of the time, even with 21,000 pounds behind it. They will also “rev up” in park from idle to get enough heat flowing through the exhaust to “passive regen” as opposed to letting the filter get full. It is not a problem and will only burn a little more fuel as opposed to idle rpm. All is well!!! Love the channel!! Keep up the good work!!
