The great thing about this drama is that even if you don't understand something initially, or perhaps half understand it, like the reason for Toranaga wanting Blackthorne, just give it some time and it all becomes clear. As for trying to predict what will happen...forget it. One thing from this one, Kiyama (the lord at the end with the priest) is not a ronin but a high-ranking lord. He is a Christian, so was trying to assasinate Blackthorne on behalf of the Church because they are worried Blackthorne will reveal more about their secrets. Looking forward to the next reaction.
