You need another router plugged into your first router just for your Wi-Fi. Your Wi-Fi radio in your router is killing your sound coming out the Ethernet ports. and then that is all going to your switch. You will find you will not need all those hifi gadgets. The noise you are trying to get rid of is actually rf from wifi. Seriously try it. Game changer.
Don’t currently stream, but I do have that exact same Xfinity XB7 modem/router you swapped out, nonetheless, if I were to go down that route, I’d need to first find someone to hardwire CAT cabling from downstairs to upstairs to even think about doing hardwired, which I agree, is way more of a faithful connection than WiFi. After your install, your system sounds more open and effortless. Nice upgrade.
I also had Tidal cut out. Sometimes it was so bad that I couldn't listen for a day or two. Being an IT professional it looks like Tidal's servers can't keep up or something else with them is going on since sometimes only certain quality settings did cut out whilst others worked fine.
I tried different settings and it still did it. I don't have full drop drop outs anymore, but yes I get a stutter here and there even hard wired. It must be on their end. Thanks for watching! 👌🎼✨
Sorry for the fuzzy first part of the video & thanks for watching! song demo: Joe McQueen & friends Album: 10 at 86 Before Audio demo time: 9:26 After Audio demo time: 14:18
Yes, but the cd player edges it out in focus. I'm getting in a new $3,500 Audience line conditioner that the router and computer will be plugged into, an upgrade from my Chang light speed. We will see if that makes a difference. I will post a video on it with results. Thanks for watching! 👌🎼✨
No, I was streaming from iTunes on my Computer via AirPlay. Tidal didn't have that song or I would have played it from there. It's a song that wouldn't get my video demonetized. Thanks for watching! 👌🎼✨
@@vpconcepts9838 Thanks for answering you probably already explained exactly that in the video but it didn’t go through to me. I thought you made a mistake
I too did upgrade the internet path recently, from wifi to ethernet, which was better once i used “audiophile” ethernet cables (viablue) and lin psu for the netgear switch. Several iterations later there is a second somewhat better netgear switch and several ifi dc purifiers on the switches and the router, and one ifi ethernet purifier before switch #1. Did immention the sbooster on the second switch? Overkill perhaps, weirdly enough, it sounds more nuanced, more expressive, string quartets effortlessly communicate their now not so subtle variations in their playing - and all this although its all only ones and zeroes…
