Hi Mia :) I left a comment on your last video about my early decision application letter coming out in a few days, and I really appreciated your response to it - I got rejected, though, and it’s really really tough to power through for me since I poured so much time into my application and portfolio and it was an absolute dream of mine to go to NYU, but your videos and your work ethic and strength and inspiration have literally made an impact on how well I’ve been able to get through the disappointment, and I’m really thankful for that. Please keep being an amazing person, you are more of an inspiration and motivator than you know for a lot of people 💜

honestly nyu is so ridiculously expensive you might be better off getting a different degree (with more solid job opportunities) and then just practicing like hell. make stuff not to get into college for that new york film student life style, but because you love to make it. if you put your heart in your work, somebody's gonna notice. and if they don't, at least you had a good time. good luck with other schools!

Getting a rejection like this is the WORST ❤️‍🩹 The work you put into your application isn’t for nothing though, if anything you’ve put more time into your portfolio for other uses and have learned from that as an artist. I can’t wait to hear where you decide to go! You can always apply to transfer too in the future if that ever feels right 💓💖
