Hey, Bridge! I've been watching/binging your college vlogs since I started waiting for college decisions to come out earlier this year. I'm so happy that I got accepted into NYU, but I don't start until spring '22 (oof). Your vlogs have helped me get a better sense of what life at NYU is like! Thank you for your content!
I have an exam for entering highschool,in my country the score of the exam shows which highschools me and other students can enter,the exam is in june. I have 7 months and your vlogs are motivating me.
so for me I'm taking 18 credits which is the standard four (four-credit) classes and then a fifth class that's 2 credits- the 2 credit class only meets once a week on thursdays, but the other classes meet twice a week and all of my classes are 75 minutes! In high school I took 7 classes that were 75 minutes and happened 3x per week!
i definitely think the class load is lower than in highschool (as is the amount of time spent on campus compared to highschool), but i think the caliber of work expected is much higher!
I use Final Cut Pro as my editing software! And for the text I use procreate on an iPad to write the text and then transfer it over to my laptop to incorporate it into the video :)
