Very enjoyable what a beautiful community. I remember when it was mostly palm and coconut trees way back in the early 70's

That long house must have an entertainment room and everything inside. One thing people don't realize is that there are no basements in Florida, so they have to make the houses big enough to compensate for not having a basement, which usually double the amount of living space of a home up north.

That's a great point. We had a huge finished basement in Illinois that would equate to half of our above ground house now! The same goes for storage and the garage. You'll use more of your garage for storage if you don't have a basement, so buy accordingly. Better yet, get rid of the stuff you don't use!!

@@evolutionaryTom I have lived in the island for two years and like you looked in that area but like you it was way over priced for my budget. But yes super nice. I heard there is an Indian area that no one can build there can you do a video on it and why?

Tom, has it gotten to the point where there are very few empty lots on the island and people have to buy older ones, and rebuild the land?

Yes it has, Pedro. When you see a large excavator get delivered to a house, that's the first sign it's coming down. They just finished clearing off a house on a bay lot on Winterberry last week. I've heard that same conversations from some house builders on the island as well.

@@evolutionaryTom I bet they're tearing down perfectly good houses that any of us would be happy to live in, yet for some folks, it's just good enough

@@evolutionaryTom An I bet most of those homes are just fine, all they just need is a little TLC and they could be quite nice to live in. We live in such a wasteful society.
