Joe C.......an eagle sitting on someone's hand is doing just that...sitting. its not trying to inflict damage. that's why the glove works... actuality a stellars sea eagle that was sitting on its handlers arm was spooked and drove her helux talon through the glove and his arm

I don't believe that for a second. I need to see a demonstration of the actual strength of their grips. Does anyone have a link to any videos? A lot of these zoologists just repeat a lot of misinformation. I want to find out if what they are saying about their grips is actually true or a misconception.

I don't believe this too. I once read that eagle's grip is 15 times stronger than that of an average human. How an eagle's leg which is 6x thinner than the forearm of a strongman, can be stronger than the strongest human forearm? There was no tests of an eagle grip power. I'd like to see it.

a picture of an eagle foot next to a human hand like this one: i.imgur.com/eAJrSWi.png humans have very weak grip compared to other animals anyway, wild animals have completely different levels of strength, but even just from that picture it should give an idea how powerful its foot must be compared to a human hand. Also you have to realise human hands are not designed for powerful grips, we hardly climb trees and we dont use hands to hunt animals/hold them down, and eagle's grip is its main killing weapon that it uses for survival, human hands are mainly for delicate work like making tools

@@Rujewitblood Speculation is not proof of any kind and most aren't anywhere near that large. They are still much lighter and smaller than any human. I've heard several outrageous claims, but all those claims came from eagle fanatics (that includes many zoologists, unfortunately) - very untrustworthy people. I want to see proof of their super grip force like they test bite forces in animals, not hear another tall tale claim by another lunatic. I'm tired of all the hype about golden eagles and eagles all the time, because they always turn out to be lies or huge exaggerations. Like that "golden eagle snatches kid" video when it turned out to be a hoax made by some students. I immediately knew it was fake by the faulty physics, but it wasn't until the creators came forth that most people found out it was a hoax.

I'd say a Harpy Eagle maybe could break a small Adult humans arm looking at the size of their legs and claws more than twice the size of Marshal. Golden or Bald Eagles feet legs and claws

How could it break a human arm? You see people handle large birds of prey all the time they just have to wear a leather glove to protect against the talons.

I know it’s 5 years late but usually you will see trained birds being handled. Also I believe some gloves have reinforcement via a metal bar or something else much like a sleeve for canine training
