Her "trying" to throw this back in Sam's face in S3 was amusing. Sam proceeding to heal the ENTIRE party a moment later was hillarious.

Jokes aside, if you only have one person with healing magic having that person ALSO be the person with and able to use your healing kit is a really bad idea that means if they go down, there's no-one to stabilize them. Do not put all your healing eggs in one basket.

The way the CR cast treats clerics as heal bots hurts my brain.

Every party members should have atleast one healing ability or item incase the main healer is out.

A healer's kit is actually useless to her, because she has spare the dying, and unless you have the healer feat, they do the same thing.

She may not have liked healing but she never completely refused to do it. Sometime it would have been better to try kill the enemy before healing. I remember Marisha sulking hard because Talisen wouldn't heal her despite her being flanked by a Hydra and another enemy and 1 attack from the Hydra would do more than he could heal

Very cute video :D I have to say this: about 75% of clerics aren't healers, and shouldn't try to be.

As a cleric I prefer to mitigate future damage by attacking the enemy first and foremost.

I'm THE cleric but *cocks gun*

I actually remembered we needed a healers kit AFTER our first battle. So I made this mistake too. It worked out for us and we didn’t end up needing it because our Druid managed to keep good account of their spells so our Paladin managed to stay alive, but yeah. Before we got to our next battle I went and bought a healer’s kit myself. We don’t have a cleric (yet) but we have a druid (who will take a few cleric levels) so healing is done. I’m the Ranger actually. I figured we need some non magical means of healing if necessary. Am considering taking the healer feat if our Druid decides to make being late a habit though. Or take cleric magical initiate feat for more magical means, but it will annoy me since it means putting off taking sharpshooter or the high drow magic feat. Oh well. Remains to be seen.

Okay, I'm watching this video, then I look over and I see a video by Jay Martin about Jester with the thumbnail saying "She had what they needed" The irony here!

Funny thing about medicine checks without the Healer Kit… My campaign 2, session 0.2. We got into a bar fight, and demolished the racist bartender and his thugs. The town guards burst in, and saw us with weapons out. Bard began talking “Sirs, you’re too late. We’ve taken care of all the cultists, even the plainclothes ones you see here.” DM: “Cultists?” Bard, reminding him of session 0.1: “Yes, didn’t you see more of them outside?” While that’s going on… Me: “DM, do you mind if I go over to the guy I killed twice over and use my Passive Medicine on him?” DM: “Passive medicine? You know he’s dead, right?” Me: “My passive medicine is 9.” Half the table got a laugh, the other half joined after an explanation.

And if they'd let Molly die and burned the body, campaign 3 would have ended right there

This beginning of her "Cleric" career is what makes her Heal Spell on Caleb at the Final Battle so special.

Yall forget that clerics can be absolutely BEAST front liners, and can be built less around healing and more around kicking ass. The most boring clerics are the walking bandaids.

I sincerely hope Laura never gave into that whole "you're the Cleric" bullshit. Being the best known of the 5 classes with equal ability to cast Cure Wounds doesn't mean healing has to be all you do.

In DnD 5e, there is no such thing as proficiency with a Healer's Kit unlike in our world. In our world, Laura Bailey is not proficient with a Healer's Kit in DnD 5e.

This is cute, for next time, please lower the music volume, it's hard to hear what they say because the music is too loud
