Thanks a lot for this video, Edouard. I'm in the planning stages of my build and while your reminders like "don't rush" "plan better" and "keep your workspace clean" seem like common sense, they are too easy to overlook. It's also nice that you included the solution to your mistakes. excited for more of your videos!

Yeah it's easy to rush for no reason..! Have fun with your build! My next video will be about a really easy painting method for guitars, it might interest you. Thanks for watching!

Great video! Rushing and the lack of preparation (mostly templates) were mistakes that i made with my so far first build as well :D

Great video! I love the style of your body and the paint job you did! I do agree that a router template would be the more recommended option cleaning up guitar blank. But if that's not an option there are some jigsaw jigs people can make to have near perfect 90 degree cuts. You're doing a great job with you videos and I hope you channel keeps growing!

You may want to try moving the holes in the body farther away from the bridge on you next build. The strings shouldn't be touching the back edge of the bridge. Looks good though.

Le routage électronique est vraiment intéressant !! Les cordes traversantes, la couleur et la tête de la guitare sont vraiment des bonnes idées ;) Courage et continu ! Hâte de voir les évolutions de ton travail au fur et à mesure x)

@@FrenchGuitarGuy it turned out great but I’m useless with electrics so I need to get someone to look at the wiring lol. Did it daphne blue with matching headstock, white pick guard and all the hardware is black apart from the chrome control plate. Through body strings with tune o magic bridge 🤓

I would recommend a kit from a reputable manufacturer. And don’t try to paint your first project. Wipe on varnish is the most forgiving and forces you to be patient. With enough coats and really fine wet sanding anyone can get a world class finish. Once you’ve completed your kit and learned how to adjust and set up your guitar, you can use the kit as a pattern for others. But start with a simple kit like a Telecaster, not an ES-335.
@BlindingSun_

I started with a JagStang done right, using a jaguar template and a mustang body for measurements. Turned out perfect and I’ve never done woodworking or painting before. Having the correct tools and taking your time helps a lot
