People love to say 60$ a mile but how long are you going to be on that load. And usually it’s a full days work. Even short stuff I don’t do anything under 500$. I don’t care if it’s going across the street.

the traffic you saw was like interstate 75 going through henry county were i live because of the people leaving Florida cause of the hurricane. the traffic didnt start slowing down till 7:30 - 8:00 pm monday night

I would suggest not trying to be home every single night i know the boys love seeing u and T-Dubbs is dubbalicious and all but cash is king and a night or 2 away every now and then always makes the heart grow fonder and she will be that much hotter to come back to... picking up what im putting down??? I know distance loads suck sometimes but if thats what needs to be done to pay the bills n keep your business rolling thats what id do. Or maybe even take the family on a weekend trip fri-sun with you and make money while you all are together. Just a suggestion but 2 2500 loads a week is better that the nickles and dimes these fools are paying. You seem much happier when you running the roads in the rig than Uber riding folks around. Maybe look at some different apps or companies that offer more loads. Hit it hard brother. ❤🙏

Walmart isn’t training new CDL holders, they have their own training school for all new hires. They require 2+ years of CDL A experience but still have a week long driver training for all new hired drivers. From what I’ve seen, it’s not an easy onboarding, they are really strict.

Starting tomorrow morning no one will be allowed to drive into the Gulf Coast of Florida. Traffic is horrendous down here. Gas stations and trucks stops are out of unleaded and diesel just about all over both coast and in between. If anyone is trying to come south into central Florida you will be turned around. You either ride it out or you leave. No changing your mind and want to go back home. State troopers will turn you back around. We will be okay in Orlando as usual.

In 07-08 I went to Loredo all the time for cross dock loads for American trucks, I don't see that being an issue too much longer 😢

You're kind of in a place where you have to do these crappy loads for content. And it's good content compared to just doing the same load again and again. Especially the problem loads. At least you're getting paid 2x per load since you're piggy backing the youtube on these loads. As things slow down, the trucking will get cheaper and cheaper as people just take whatever they can just to break even. Same with making sure checks clear before loading. Such a great economy we have now eh?
