What a beautiful landsape, it will be a joy to try and paint this view - because I would like to go there... Thank you for your clear demonstration, I will be watching and painting this quite a few times I think.
I have just found your site and love your painting style and colors you use! Love the way you have the instructions printed and the calming and inspiring music
Just discovered you through latest International Artist magazine Jan edition. Love your style. Thank you for creating this and please do more instructional videos if you find time!!!!
Thank you so much John! How lovely to hear that you found me through the International Artist Magazine - it was certainly a highlight of my art career to be featured there... There will be more videos for sure - I aim to post them every couple of weeks.
Hi Anastasia, such a beautifully expressive painting! I'm in love with your needle point brush but can't seem to find it anywhere. Could you please drop a link to where you got yours? Thank you!
Thank you so much! I know that these brushes are not easy to come by outside of Australia… They are Alvaro Castagnet’s signature brushes, and I can see they are for sale on his website: alvarocastagnet.net/shop/needle-point-brush-6/ I buy mine from www.seniorart.com.au
This is a beautiful painting. I really enjoyed watching. Thank you. May I ask where you found that triangular lift you use to angle your paper with. It's perfect, just what I'm looking for.
Thank you so much Ann 😊 Glad you enjoyed the video. The way I found the triangle support is a bit of a funny story - it was a part of the packaging our new washing machine came with. I saw it and realised it was perfect for my watercolour painting. You can make something similar out of thick cardboard - fold it into a shape of a prism and secure with tape (a tip I learned at a watercolour workshop).
