I always enjoy simple flies. Tying them teaches skills and they tend to be fish catchers! Thanks, Matt!

That's a good one, Matt. Very similar to how I tie the mink tail caddis which was always a good producer for me.

Hi Matt. Nice work on the caddis and not difficult to tie. Going to add that to my caddis list. Missed my normal coffee/video morning today. Our daughter flew into Vegas so we drove up to spend a couple days with them. Haven’t seen them for almost 3 months so it was great to spend some time with them.

Hello again Matt. I’m catching up on notifications again. Very nice fly choice for the video. It should be tied in every color a caddis comes in because it looks great and will definitely work anywhere! Thanks as always.

I bought a CDL pelt years ago and like to work those feathers into a pattern when I can for the excellent markings. This fly looks like a good mix of natural colors and variegation. Thanks.

The caddis fly is certainly a ‘go to’ fly for most of us. This one will be a great addition. Thx Matt.

When I was reading the comments it sparked my imagination a little. I’m wondering if some CDC (as an underwing) for the CDL (over-wing) might be worth experimenting with. As usual thanks for your efforts Matt. Hope you have a great week.

I like fishing caddis flys, but I don't have any with peacock, I might need to change that and tie some up. Thanks Matt 👌.

Another good one Matt and only 3 materials. I'm down here at Lake Okeechobee getting blown off of the lake but it's supposed to calm down some over the next few days. Keep the good stuff coming buddy.

Sorry to point this out Matt but in the title you called this fly a CDC Peacock Caddis when I think you meant CDL Peacock Caddis. It's a nice fly by the way. Thanks

Another interesting fly! I have a question. What would you recommend for a substitute for CDL? I don't currently have any,but I would like to give this one a go.
