Thank you Erica!! The primary reason I made these is for travel. Well it’s because it can go more places than some of our other favorite tools. It can do a whooole lot that a knife can and also act as a kubotan/non lethal poker. I also see it as a good escape/evade tool. Some other aspects are the caplifter is machined to .251” wide to be a great 1/4” wrench in a pinch… it accepts 1/4” hex tools very well… they fit snugly and even snap into place a little. I don’t mention it a lot but also the taper/size is on purpose. 1/2” iron pipe typically has an inner diameter that ranges from .50 to .60. That is the widths of the bow and stern of MNB… so -in a serious punch- it will wedge inside the cheater bar for more leverage. Like you said I specifically do not add a nail notch because while adding that nearly useless function (& aesthetics, let’s be real.. that’s why they’re on an edc bar…) it takes away from the scraping function which is what I personally use them for the most.
Love the look of these things. I always find myself needing to pry or scrape something and I don’t want to use my knife or multitool. Honestly thinking about making some beefy stainless prybars myself. I have a furnace and a grinder. Might as well use them for something.
@@ericasedc I knew that part, but I thought you did something else because of the construction. I have a few videos on here myself for straight razor shaving. I hone razors and knives as well. The quality isn’t as good as yours, but anyways thanks for the clarification lol.
