Great job! What a way to show empathy for the less fortunate until they can get back on their feet. Keep up the good work and hopefully more can follow your example.

Amazing what you can get done when all of your resources don't go to fundraising and giving yourself awards to show everyone what a good person you are for helping the homeless.

Tear jerking. You're an inspiration to every Edmontonian and at a wider, more world-wider view, Canadians and most importantly - HUMANS alike, Mr. Tesfay. I will forever cherish your story and seriously emboldens me to hear your story and to also share that same pain, life experience on a mulitude of levels. You have a face i have seen before, and i have seen many faces in the city. Thank you for who you are, and what you give the community - we will be forever grateful for your leadership and that natural great model guy everyone, man or woman; should strive to be.

I am watching a documentary about Captain Cook, world's greatest navigator, from Yorkshire, England. He was born in a mud hut, & slept behind the counter as a apprentice grocer, both which are illegal in much of the developed world. Fact is we've deliberately increased the cost of housing to raise standards, which is driving up homelessness.

I'd say the primary cause of homelessness is bad life choices. Regardless, let's help them by buying them all bus tickets west to BC. In Victoria it's +6c 🌞 🌴 here in Edmonton it's minus -27c 🥶 Let's end homelessness in Alberta for 2024 #sendthemwest❤

But we're rich enough to buy them all bus tickets to BC 🚌 It's currently minus -27c 🥶 in Edmonton.... In Victoria BC it's +6c 🌞 🌴 let's help them get to the homeless-promise land, those BC libs looove the homeless ❤ Homeless free Alberta 2024!😀

Prime example of what hard work, dedication, and compassion can do for a community. The neighbourhood is on its way to doing a full 360. We have to take pride in having people that genuinely care about the welfare of other and for that all I can is thank you and God Bless!

I was just denied disability, i have been paying into it my whole life I have 3 major illness and i was denied because its not prolonged enough. I am going to be on the street in 30 days sick and over 60 years of age. I am depressed struggling with Complex PTSD is tough enough as it is amongst other things. But loosing what little I still own in my home will be devastating! Brutal this is my country.

I'm glad to see you helping out, I just really hope that you are not a Pervez. He was a horrible slumlord and the criminals and crime was always in a large radius around his many properties. Be blessed 🙂
