took my diesel Audi to momentum Audi in Houston. After charging me $480 for an oil change and inspections, I took the car home and decided to check the oil myself. Inserted an old dipstick into the Audi dipstick port. The dipstick came back with old nasty oil. I told Audi corporate about it and they canceled the rest of my warranty. That's the last vag product I'll buy.

Most wouldn't know how to do that (hint: dipstick check before & after 'change'). "Sir, your headlamp bulb has run out of adjustment. I mean, yes, most of these things aren't necessary, but following the owners manual to the T is not something I would recommend with everything. Don't wait 10k miles to change your oil, cut that in half. Servicing your transmission is good about every 60k miles. Certain fuel additives, oil cleaner additives are also very helpful.
