I hated his opinions at first and took me a while but I've slowly started to like Kane and now I know he's a top bloke. I think he got off on a bad foot with me by being a former power player (which is silly I know that), sorry power fans not sure why you're club is like Collingwood to me. Anyway, way to go Kano most of us couldn't even run 725 metres let alone that many kilometres

Such a selfless man, not only has he raised a huge amount of money for a good cause, he has shown true Aussie values and spirit pushing through the sweat and pain to give better opportunities to those who need it the most. Will be remembered for years to come and the emotional and mental uplift this would have on those kids with cancer would be priceless for them.

Never really had a opinion on Kane but what a great effort. The example he has shown to his family and others truly is one of not only compassion and commitment but of pain and sacrifice not forgetting the same shown by those who helped him achieve the outcome they did. Shame some other big profile personality's that have made millions from the game can't cough up the tally would be huge. Well done and very humble great example of human compassion.
