I assume the process is the same for a Mimosa aka Tree of Happiness? I want to grow 1 for it's herbal benefits but need to keep it small enough to stay in a container in my greenhouse so it doesn't spread like our 2 poincianas do.

I love your channel I have a similar project I'm working on with this same tree, I picked the seed pod when I was in the caribbean from a beautiful giant tree, and the movement of the trunk is already really interesting! I'm running into an issue where a lot of the older leaves are just turning yellow and falling off, while the new ones are growing well. Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong with this tree? when you cut it at 0:54 do you discard the leafy part of the plant? What time of the year are you cutting it like that? Do you have to be careful when you don't leave any green leafs?
