As a Kenyan, to say that this place is magical, it’s an understatement. The person behind this resort is definitely a genius. I feel like next time I visit Ethiopia I might head here straight from the airport, cut off all my contacts and barricade myself here for a week. You are right. He has this resort at least in three other cities in Ethiopia with swimming pools minus the water park. I have stayed at the one in Bahir-dar city for a weekend. I had an awesome time. Everything about it screams Africa.

This is what happens when a system is capitalistic and government actually lets you do your business without interference. If this was in Eritrea the government would open another park across from you just to put you out of business and let you know they are in charge or they let you flourish until you are successful and then design mechanisms to take it away from you like literally . Ethiopians don’t know how lucky they are and have it good in Africa. You need to recognize your ethnic differences are nothing compared to the bright future ahead of you. Seek peace among each other and the sky is the limit.

This place is so beautiful, thank God the owner had the opportunity to travel abroad and live in the USA for many years, so he can get ideas what he can do on the Motherland, and I must say he executed it very well...Africa has the natural beauty like lake, beaches, and I just love how this African man see the potential and doing a great job on Mama Africa...Many water park here in the west have man-made lakes, fake beaches and theme park areas that representing Africa, they even have buffet restaurants where people can eat unlimited different African cuisines...I hope many Africans near and far will visit this place...It's always good to get ideas and make it happen.

I spent a week-end with my family here back in 2016, the water park was not there by then but the place was very nice already. And their food is also awesome, especially the breakfast... And as you say, it's quite affordable. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Addis-Ababa.

I lived in this resort town from ages 8 to 14. Another historical fact, educated Ethiopian Airforce personnel and their families lived in this resort town. I’m thankful to my Dad for moving us out there and I cherish those early memories. Rest In Peace Daddy! BTW, Bisheftu is also known as “Debrezeit”. There are other lakes too in Debrezeit (Bisheftu) unless the names are changed such as; Hora lake, Babogaya, & a few others. It’s such a serene place to live in. Thanks Wode Maya for showing this to the world. Ethiopia has a lot to offer! Enjoy your stay!

I never seen beautiful resort in the west countries that surrounds by nature except in Africa. We never seen on TV in the western countries about africa resorts or other beautiful regions in Africa. We only see only poor areas in Africa on TV or very poor regions. Thank you for your videos shows more about the beauty of Africa. It really makes me feel it's a best place to live.

Ah… New Hampshire. It’s all making sense now. Many East Africans living in New England (USA). I’m sure the water park he’s speaking of has to be the Canobie Lake Park, visited that water park with my son and we had a great time. Credit to his dad, because such magnificent resort requires a lot of money and investments. I dream of transforming Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, into an amusement water park. If I can’t I’m hoping another Ghanaian would transform the space at Efua Sutherland Park into a park like this. God bless Africa.
