Great reaction! This is what a collaboration is supposed to be. We're getting the best of Anderson .Paak alongside the best of Bruno Mars and the world's a better place for it! Kudos to all of the participants on this project. Each song is simply exquisite. But "Put On A Smile" is as close to perfection as I have ever heard. Best lead vocals, best background vocals, best instrumentation. The producers paid such attention to detail and the end result is absolute perfection! Keep this team together. We need more music like this in these trying times! Bravo!!!
I think Thunder Cat is actually playing bass on After Last Night. It’s Bootsy’s narration & admins that are featured throughout the track. ‘When I’m gon see you agaaaiin’, is a minor 11 chord, which sounds amazing vocally. When they hit that las chorus & Bruno sayin After, Last night, on the beat while the back vocals run the hook, is reminiscent of the ‘90’s group Silk, on their song Freak Me, when the lead is sayin ‘Babay, don’t stop….’ , on the beat while the hook runs. On 777, when he say, ‘Spin the wheel ….’ they hit a vibraslap. Jus to see them lay down the percussion alone would be worth cash money.

This album is so good but Put on A Smile brings tears to my eyes it’s so good. Bruno was having trouble writing this song so he called Baby Face to come help and the rest is history. Bruno calls Baby Face one of the best song writers of all time.
