Morning Big Red... Hope your week starts off great! Purple is by far the coolest! And two things I totally agree with..bugout is the perfect EDC and I think it's what broke the mold and I've always disliked speedholes but I'm still getting this one.
Yep, I'm with you. I had to buy two because of all the color combinations available .😂 I got a black one and a green one . Thanks for sharing, brother 👊
Just ordered 2 green ones, would have loved the purple but I couldn't find it! This could possibly be the number one knife that checks all the requirements for me. I already love the baby banter and this one is almost half the price, a little bigger, good budget steel, simple design and the rest remains to be seen when I get them!
I’m not a fixed blade fan and this is stunning. I’ve been thinking about QSP knives now never ever owning one now this gives me a reason to try one out. My #1and #2 on my list to buy is this and the baby banter. Thank You sincerely appreciate you and your videos. THANK YOU BIG RED MUCH RESPECT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY SIR #THANKU4SERVNORCOUNTRY😊
I have the qsp canary neck knife version... And I've carried it almost all of 2023... I love carrying neck knifes but sometimes it just makes more sense to carry a nice folding knife... And for edc purposes I really like this blade shape and style... Thusly, I must have this folding type too.... I do have one other folding knife which is the drop bear from Kizer and I really love that knife but I feel it's more at home when I'm out hiking and camping and pairs well with my LionSteel M4... so the drop bear is going to go on/in my Day pack, and I plan on using the canary fix blade in combination with this folder and switch it out as need be (depending on what edc conditions I'm in) ... I too am a big fan of the bug out and the mini as well, but the price and type of Steel that's on the qsp is very comparable to the bug out and being QSP is able to use a great middle of the stainless steel and a proven blade shape I believe the better pick would be the qsp canary in 14C28N sandvik stainless... anyways thanks for showing off the knifes.. Much appreciated... Going to order kine tomorrow 😎✌️
Aw, if there’s a hole in it, I’ll find a way to get something stuck there. Drywall screw, bungee hook, pebble…. I do dig that intense purple color, though.
Great review JB, i always thought the design for the fixed blade was awesome, I really like it, I don’t mind the speed holes that much for an all black version.
It's a really cool knife but I'm with you on the speed holes I wish there was a version without because I'd buy one right away having the holes is a deal breaker for me but it's still a cool knife great video man 👍
QSP has been amazing since the Penguin. The limited edition titanium frame lock Penguin in 154cm sheep’s foot blade is a superb, well concealed knife. Their knives are basic, high value, excellent knives.
@BigRedEDC Very true, and fingers crossed for that one day. Either way QSP is a great company and I'm very impressed with their quality and their OEM work!
I have seen some love for the Canary and I guess I'll have to hold one to understand it. It looks fine but I don't see anything that really sets it apart. Speed holes neither impress nor upset me. It seems decent overall. I like your review though. Thanks
