Andy MRI would show if you had a slipped disc pressing on the nerves in your back causing the pain. It's a good idea as if this gets really bad you will loose toilet function/control and your legs may not work. (Been there done that since 2008). This would then be a medical emergency. If any doctor mentions Cauda Equina Syndrome (thats what I was left with after a botched surgery) sorry to seem like a broken record but I don't want to not warm you of the red flags for CES
