The fact that cases such as these have not garnered national attention is deplorable.

Bless these men. I wish they got a million a year for every year they were locked up.

I think that people who are wrongly accused of crimes should be reimbursed by the state for time spent in prison, along with a public apology, and punitive damages. Then perhaps our so called justice system will take a closer look before sentencing innocent people.

two innocent men incarcerated for over twenty years for crimes they didnt commit!!! disgraceful. how many more such people are in prison for things they didnt do? they dont seem to bear hatred or malice to the people who were responsible for putting them in prison, truly inspirational! god only knows what i would have done in their place.........

I do not trust the court system. I would be frightened to death to be accused of a crime! Far too many innocent people have been convicted of crimes they did not commit.

Look at these numbers from the Projects website! There have been 248 post-conviction DNA exonerations • The first DNA exoneration took place in 1989. Exonerations have been won in 34 states; since 2000, there have been 182 exonerations. • 17 of the 248 people exonerated through DNA served time on death row. • The average length of time served by exonerees is 13 years. The total number of years served is approximately 3,151.
