0:47 - When swashing whisky around the mouth it shoots air in and out of the nasal cavity / mouth. This then keeps having aromas come and go lessening the ability for different parts of your palate (tongue for layman) to taste what you have without interruption or disruption. In tasting courses one is dissuaded from this kind of mouth action. You also start to produce more saliva in this form and mix the whisky instead of taste it as clean as you could.
I have sniffed , smelled swirled , swished and every other way they say to drink whiskey from high shelf to the bottom and yet have I tasted or smelled any of these so called flavors and scents 😂😂😂
