I love that smile Munch gave as soon as Sarah suggests she bribes him. Like he just had to appreciate her bravery for saying it in a courthouse before he points how wrong it is

Detective John Munch is one the best written television characters ever. Homicide Life On The Street he was the comic relief but SVU made him into a star. Richard Belzer deserves a ton of credit for his performance

I agree, and I really love John Munch as a character. There's such depth there. One minute, he's ranting on and on about conspiracy and then the next minute, he is showing more genuine emotion and caring than you'd ever expect to see. Also, little bit of trivia - John Munch holds the record for being in the most individual television shows as the same character.

I feel real bad for Munch, still I love when he got episodes, this is the real SVU when the other characters have their moment (even an episode), instead of just focused on Liv nowadays.

That episode where he bonded with the doctor who was helping people commit suicide (season 5 or 6) was also another good Munch episode, and we got to hear about some of his back story as well.

Those are the episodes I like better too. Don't like the SVU from the last few years it looks more like a soap opera than a cop show. Hate it.

i agree, the chemistry that occurred between all these actors/actresses was really spot on and the best for what it's worth. its amazing to see how well they were AND ARE at what they do, and I hope they get the very much needed credit they TRULY deserve.

She’s come back to the series in 2021 as a different character; Fin’s girlfriend. A little confusing since that would make her two different people in this universe.

I totally agree. I grew to be very fond of his character on “Homicide”, and also “Law and Order: SVU”. He is quite attractive in an unconventional way, and the unique Munch character is intelligent and sweet.

Jennifer Esposito is a really good actress. She doesn't get nearly enough credit. I was skeptical when they first put her in "Spin City," but she soon won me over.

I disagree with witness couching, it leads to false testimony. If cops, DAs, or Lawyers do it, scrub the witness from trial and dismiss the case.

It was a creepy stalker of hers. After her SA, the incel couldn’t stand to know that she had been “””soiled””” and did this. Disgusting how some people think they have authority over others, isn’t it?
