I agree because it seems like everyone who has ever had to deal with her knew she would be ready on day one and that she was actually a secret weapon. And I will always remember she was the only one who landed a big punch on Joe biden, and Tulsi gabbard all she had were lies about kamala's record which was not made clear by the debate moderators. Honestly I didn't like anybody on the 2020 ticket but boy was I wrong about her. Now let me tell you I think Joe Biden has been the best president of my lifetime because he gave up his freaking trickle down economics but I think Kamala with her smarts can actually lead us into a new golden age in this country
IMO it’s no insult to say someone was capable of growth. We are talking about her ability to perform as a candidate, and such, her public performances as well as her strategy and ability to win people over. Anyone who has profiled her or followed her campaign closely knows she was not this incisive or this well put-together. It’s true that the country has changed in a way that make her background (as a prosecutor, as a woman of colour) less of a liability. But she has grown and exceeded expectations and Democrats should celebrate that rather than pretend she lived up to her potential in 2020.
@@manLiMarth do you know what's really odd is the more I learn about her past record the more I wish I had supported her in the 2020 presidential contest but she didn't have enough money to show us who she was and instead got defined by those who had more money. The growth that she might have experienced as being vice president for 3 and 1/2 years and being engaged in our foreign policy as well as other areas but she was already a general in her own right and none of us knew that back then. As we have heard many Californians say about Kamala who they elected to their highest offices time and time again, she has always been a secret weapon in plain sight
Nobody was enthusiastic for her before Biden quit the race. A lot of people, including me, were concerned about how she’d perform as the candidate. I’m not sure it matters whether she’s grown into it or we were wrong - the important thing is she’s proven to be a star, either way.
Her ability to give a speech, her strength, her competence - she’s just proven herself in so many ways recently. She’s polished off the rough edges of her 2020 run. I’m so excited to vote Harris/Walz! 💙
I was lukewarm about Harris actually wanted Biden to remain… It’s surprises me how much I absolutely adore Harris now that I’ve got to know her and her husband and that dynamite VP pick Tim Walz. They are everything that Trump Vance are not and it’s saddens me that most of the evangelicals would vote for somebody like Trump.

In his piece on Kamala Harris, Ed Luce claims that she was an INDIFFERENT Vice President. I cannot imagine how he came to that conclusion. To me, it is obvious he does not understand her role in this administration and does not know much about Kamala Harris in general. Kamala Harris has never been one to gild the lily of her accomplishments. She has no need, as Donald Trump has, to shout it from the rooftops. Her accomplishments speak for themselves and her journey to the White House has been remarkable. If he read her book, "We Hold These Truths" he might understand that part of the journey but to state, unequivocally, that she has been an indifferent V.P. truly misrepresents her role and the successes of the present administration.

Seriously, we've gotten just as policy talk as any other campaign I can remember, and we already know her positions on everything. So I don't get that criticism. And it's not like Trump has gone into detail about how he'll pay for things like deporting 20 million people.
