What you said about the fandom complaining about metavision was spot on. I saw videos about it, and they weren't very good. Props on you for pointing that out! Saying metavision was given to just anyone is such a weird complaint. Like, let's look at the players who were "given metavision out of nowhere" and see if it makes sense. Niko, who's main ability is his vision. It is how he was introduced, and what makes him unique. (Also he was seen using MV unconsciously in the u20 match when we see the grid design on the field in his POV.) Aiku, like you said, literally has been using MV all along, just unconciously. The eye design literally showed up on him, how was that not foreshadowing? Reo, who has the ability to copy any move within his specs. It's very likely he copied it from Isagi. His best feats with his copy ability were when he copied Rin's shot vs BM, and when he copied Nagi's jumping turn shot vs the u20. So how is he not able to copy a little eye movement lol? Hiori, whose passes were said to be at Sae's level. His vision and field iq were some of his qualites back when he was introduced. I guess Hiori is the one that fits the description of a player that was "given the ability out of nowhere", and even then he was shown to have qualities of someone who can unlock the ability. And If it was just Hiori, the complaint would be "Hiori was given metavision out of nowhere" and not "The author is giving away the ability to random people." So, we learned that the people who were given metavision were players that: - have already used the ability before it was introduced - have good vision, or their main ability is their vision - have shown capacity to use the ability The fandom needs to change. Our media comprehension is so bad. Which I guess is to be expected with a fanbase of a soccer manga, but still.

Tbh, the Ubers could have won the BM match if: Lorenzo and Snuffy opted to score, they just lost because they were following the Barou centered system.

Dawg Isagi yk great at emulating someone’s movements? That’s literally a weaponed he discovered facing against barou and naruhaya. Which lead Isagi emulating off-the-ball movements. So I’m agreeing it did take Isagi a few to days to learn about his “Left direct shot”.

Barou's second goal against BM wasn't even that different then the first. Both relied on his team bringing the ball up for him then having him shoot just outside the box. Only difference was not waiting for his team to literally prevent the gk from seeing his shot. The goal was cool but there is a reason he only got a 30 mil upgrade for 2 goals. Man got carried by his team outplaying the ops.
