Atmosphere used to be rocking but years of fans boycotting and under achieving has led to a poor home atmosphere, 10k in the champ is low considering we averaged 17/18k in lg1 and lg2
Your right, the atmosphere in the west stand (big one) is awful. Me and my son are season ticket holders, he has just turned 7 and shouts things like ‘come on tigers, you can do this! ) the amount of oldies that turn and give him a dirty look for being too loud.... your at a footy match ffs I’d you don’t like a loud atmosphere stick yo sitting at home and watching on tv!
I'm a city fan and the west stand used to be ok, especially when they had the 2nd tier open. All the fans just sit there and nothing exciting happens. The South stand used to be the so called "family" stand a few years back but I cant tell anymore lol. I went to my first game in a few years last week against Sheffield and I think u would much rather enjoy it there instead of being sat next to boring people lol. Once we get those owners out I think the atmosphere will be revived and it will be the biggest celebration and we may even get back to the prem where we belong
Patrick...I used to be a season pass holder in Upper West stand. I remember shouting at McShane for trying to use his left foot, as he chipped the ball straight into touch.....and the lady in her fur coat, sat in front of me, really did ask me to "not shout so loud" 😱😱⚽️⚽️😂😂. I cannot print my reply!! 😡😡😉😉

Cmon guys 7/10 for the stadium. No mention that it was built in and surrounded by green and beautiful parkland and just know the atmosphere is poor because the owners have ripped the heart out of this club. Come back in warm sunshine, blue skies and new ownership and you might be pleasantly surprised. Cant believe you came to Hull and no mention of Chip Spice. Can’t be held responsible for travel time. Definitely not unfair about the loudness and atmosphere, the owners are killing our club so many people boycott games and the upper tier of the west stand is shut, I believe its because we don't generate enough income so its not profitable anymore. The council shut it because the stadium is not owned by the club
It's a weird one that, miles better than Forest for food and service, better than Brum for atmosphere (though night games have a thing), but those long miles do take a toll on the overall rating. If Reading and Carlisle were identical experiences, Carlisle would obviously be marked lower. No slight on Hull, just the vagaries of geography
So I think you should do an away soccer bar/stl road trip. There's a big outdoor patio and it's supposed to be 32°C this weekend. You could combine with a visit to Chris and Jeremy although Daniel might be a bit of a haul.
Hull now are getting more attendance each game, reaching 18k and more mostly every game and u should come back just to see if we improved, well its along way so tbf u can just wait till the next time we play you 🤣🤣
Yeh fair enough, just our attendances have dropped season upon season due to fans boycotting games due to the owners, however if you don’t go up this season definitely come back as we in the middle of a takeover and hopefully that might mean a better experience for you next time.
Hello mate I actually work on the outside of the away end and dealt with you guys on the way in and was the actual supervisor who got you to the security office, I think you you where spot on with your scores if I'm honest, I can't wait to go to Bournemouth myself this year, the section of fans on the right side of you when you was there are our familys and corporate people and the ones to the left are the so called ultras. On the bank card thing, I personally went and looked around the concourse and seating area but no look I'm afraid
Thanks so much for your message! Most of the staff were absolutely brilliant, just the one person I talked to inside the ground seemed a bit unsure of the protocol, however to be fair it possibly wasn’t within their remit! Really hope you manage to get a ticket down here for the return fixture! 🤝
