I've seen you comment on other creators too, shows you really care about the community that you take the time to thank everyone who spreads the Word about your game :3
Loving the game so far! I defs agree about the stamina at least at the start (just left the starting planet in my first save). I think it would be nice if shooting enemies didn’t use energy as the ones that are hardest to avoid take like 4 hits and burn through energy fast. I know it’s a bit more complex on the dev side as the same tool is used to destroy rocks and hit enemies but maybe gun shots that hit enemies don’t use stamina but ones that miss or hit rocks do? Either way loving it so far!
@@annam.6494 Hi anna, best timing ever!! We just pushed an update that actually just reduced the health of the buzz creep (the firefly hard enemy) down a bit to help with combat difficulty and save some energy. This with some other tuning changes hopefully help especially in the beginning. ❤
Thank you for mentioning Steam Deck compatibility! I’m definitely going to buy it now. I loveeeee that it’s not a short game either since I prefer playing games that are more than 20 hours.
I played the demo and overall loved it and really love how the map is layed out and the color coding. I do agree I do find the combat a little challenge and while I personally like a challenge I know there are others who might not like it. One of my thoughts about the game that I wish was a bit better (unless I am missing something) is when you are cleaning your base with the yellow looking gun (I can't remember the name) you have to hold the mouse button and I wish there was a toggle option for those who might want it or need it.
I'm so excited to play this game!! I was definitely one of the people hyping up this game during NextFest! I am so happy it is out and glad that you love it
you’re absolutely gorgeous gf!! your hair, outfit, everything is too cute!!🥰🥰🥰 really wanna check this one out, it’s so sweet that the developers are a couple
Not many games can compare to Stardew Valley cause of some simple reasons.. Scaling and story is done at just the right pace. You got new goals when you complete stuff. You never feel like you are grinding or completing stuff too fast. I NEVER got bored cause the farming felt rewarding cause you got just the right amount of gold and you unlocked stuff just when it started to get tedious. And the story was also moving at the right pace cause it was being locked behind stuff you needed to do, like hearts etc. I played it 3 times, first two times clean and the last time filled with mods. I think the closest I've come to Stardew Valley is Sun Haven to be honest. Just waiting for them to stop with updates and then I'm gonna start a fresh save. :D Other games that I loved is: Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles Grow: Song of the Evertree Moonstone Island Littlewood My time at Portia Paleo Pines I also think Echoes of the Plum Grove could be amazing in the future with more updates. Just some tips for my fellow cozy gamers. :D
I’ve been playing the demo and I love it so far. Between what I’ve experienced so far and this review, I think I’m gonna have to buy this one. Not like I need another farming sim 🤣
After this review, they have added a setting to make the microbe minigame easier or remove it completely! Nothing for the combat yet, though. I can say from experience that it's *possible* to complete the game's story and complete all but two achievements without ever zapping a single creep, but it is quite tough!
I am really enjoying this game. I was kind of in a rut with cozy games. I am sure you have been there and this game makes me so happy. I wish there was a way to make a little more money while I am trying to grind. Even when I grow plants I use them as energy while I am down on the planet. So that’s frustrating to me. I think they might need to slightly adjust their prices to balance it out a little. I am trying to grind and make money to upgrade my tools.
I’ve followed you for a while but I missed this review when it came out. I happened to buy the game last week when I found it on steam and was like yep this looks like my jam. Started playing today and I’m enjoying it but I agree with you about the energy. Feels like I have to put off upgrades because I spend money on energy instead as it goes out so quick. Hopefully I get more stamina at some point or s more consistent money maker
I also wish upgrades weren’t quite as long. I’ve just been playing moonstone island and those are instant or the next day for some things so now I’m used to it haha
Thanks for the great review! This looks like a lovely game that would be right up my alley - if it were on Switch. We really need it need it on Switch! It honestly seems high-quality and different enough to be fun and fresh and not just another "farming sim." I love a lot of the unique mechanics and the art style is adorable.
I started playing it today. I really like it but I wish you could see your tool bar without going into your backpack and I also would like to see what you are finding. I haven’t gotten too far so but am very interested in seeing how it progresses.
I'm not a native English speaker so I might be wrong here, but if you say this is an honest review doesn't that imply all your other reviews aren't honest?
No…all my reviews are honest, I wouldn’t make them if they weren’t. I’ve just started using the word “honest” to really highlight that I’m gonna dive in and give you pros and cons no matter what
I said that I liked those parts! Mines / dungeons are usually my favorite part of these kinds of games actually! I just know some viewers in the audience don’t like combat which is why I included it 💕
