Well, there were a lot of trials and tribulations, but we did see a lot of countries in a short space of time and for that it was brilliant. I would do another for the same reasons, but I think I would look at smaller ships next time. xx
So good that you are back, safe and sound with some great stories to tell, and all those super memories! Though it’s a bit nuts, have to admit that I have been really looking forward to your return (to your hall and all)! You brighten many days, including mine!
Welcome home Helen. Lovely to see you. I’ve been following your holiday journey and it looked fabulous. But it’s always nice to come home I think. No place like home !
Lesson well learnt. We don’t use a travel agent for Asian holidays. We book our flights and use local drivers to take us on day tours. It’s fun and much more informative than these over priced tours. Best wishes from Australia. 🎉
@@Helenmaryjo I have no understanding of travelling in the UK or Europe. Not a clue. Love the channel and your travel reflection. Best wishes and thanks.
Helloo so good to see you back.I tried to pick upon my hols in Spain but wifi not great. Love your top tips. Did a Seaborn Carribean trip many years ago. Excellent! Did our own Island tours by locals.
Lovely to see you back safe and well, you're made me want pearls as you really suit them, I think all your outfits you had on looked expensive with your jewerly, then you would remind us what you had paid for them ,and it was hard to believe the bargains you managed to find, I look forward to seeing what you will be showing us helen now that you are back,❤ ❤
I'm sure you're glad to be home, but hope that you still consider it the trip of a lifetime. Jet lag is never good - hope you recover from it soon. I lived in Asia for several years, albeit 30 years ago now, but loved every minute of it, and always want others to feel that way too! I'm not a cruise person (only ever been on one, and it wasn't for me), but know loads of people that absolutely adore cruising, and can't wait to go on more. Glad to have. you back - look forward to seeing more "hauls in your hall"!
Welcome home Helen. Thankyou for sharing you're holiday experiences. Really loved it. Looking forward to the live I look out for that thankyou Helen so much. 👍🤗
Hello Helen 👋 you're looking fabulous. Lovely to see you back safe and well. Hope you get a satisfactory reply from Cunard! Look forward to your live xx
Welcome home, it's good to have you back! Thankyou for the wrap up of the holiday and tips and tricks you have shared. Look forward to the hauls in the hall and a live video.
Hi Helen Thank you for all your port / city updates ! Really was a holiday of a lifetime You and Rob made a very handsome couple. Looking forward to your M&S haul I’m at present on a wee Med cruise for 2 weeks but now beginning to think about home Washing ironing etc 🤪❤
I could listen to you all day, talking about your holiday experiences. It’s so very interesting. It’s great to have you back home though. That’s a dream I will never have myself. You are looking really glamorous, as always. Thanks for sharing your videos. 😊
I loved this series. Really enjoyed the process, the anticipation and thoughts looking back on what worked out and what you’d do differently. Thanks Helen!
Welcome back Helen! Today was a very informative video and will give people who are going on a cruise themselves a very good insight into the ups and downs they might face. I’m so pleased you and Rob had a wonderful trip.💖🌸
I enjoyed hearing about your cruise. I really couldn't do the queueing. I read the sun article online and left a message on the comments on the last video. What good publicly for you chanel. I love the greetings cards, anyone would be thrilled to recieve one on their birthday.
I’ve missed you and your hall Helen, so welcome home. Thank you for taking the time to give us your fashion shows and news of your daily activities, which was nice to hear. I agree that the ship’s excursions are very expensive, as are the excursions on bus trips, the only advantage being that you don’t have to wait in long queues and can go straight through, so a private excursion is more fun and a great cost saver. I hope you really enjoyed this wonderful holiday and had a lot of fun!❤
Hi Helen, welcome home! Wonderful video. Appreciate you for sharing your trip with us. It really is good to see you, glad you and Rob got home safe and sound! Thank you so much, take really good care, stay well! Lots of love Kathy x 🌺🌺
Welcome home Helen, it’s been lovely seeing your adventures. We love cruising and we try to use the local transport instead of going on the excursions and much prefer getting around on our own and of course a lot cheaper xx
Thanks again Helen - that's the closest I'll get to cruising! Totally agree with your actions re issues on board - will be interesting to see how things pan out xxx
Hi Helen nice to see you back👏👏 travelling is very tiring but you saw some lovely places on your travels. You are looking great. Love the cards very unusual. Very interesting and honest thank you. X
Haloo Helen! Enjoy all the craik & photos etc. I think,in the pics of you & Rob together, you look like filmstars! Looking forward to your next vlog. (Saw the article in the Sun, & wondered how you'd feel about it. ❤ Love spending time with you x
Hello Helen good to see you back safe, looking lovely as ever, loved the cruise shots.. and will be very interested what you think.. about Cunard? 🎉😊 The Cunard should have an Evaluation form.. and trawl the complaints before the next cruise.. I am just like you.. attention to detail, as a retired Staff Nurse. The Ship needs some organisation by the sound of it..was it value for 💰 money?
Thank you. I think the holiday itself was very good value for money. But the failings on the ship were so easily remedied, that's what is frustrating. They have the wrong attitude. xx
@@Helenmaryjo They should listen to improve .. My paternal Grandma worked for White Star then Cunard, was a Hostess on the Classic ships in Southampton in the 1920’s until 1938, her partner John, my Grandfather helped in the Building of RMs Titanic in Belfast & Southampton worked for Harland & Wolf..Grandma, My Father, myself and my children all born in Southampton, Ships 🚢 are our Family History.. WILL BE WATCHING THE M&S haul ☺️
Great informative blog, thank you Helen. Wish I seen it before our huge cruise and stay, as it is I will never cruise again because of our experience with all the negatives you mention. Also totally agree with your difficulty on the beach with sellers, when in Kenya, we stopped going onto the beautiful hotel “ private beach “ because of the pushy sellers, which was sad as my biggest joy is swimming in the sea! My husband actually had his shoes and socks taken whilst on the beach! It just takes the gloss off a holiday. You’ve seen so much, lots of magical memories, photo book a must as you forget so much otherwise. Really pleased you had a great time, and pleased your back!
Welcome back Helen, you have been on my mind since you left 😀 Thanks for taking the time to do this roundup video. I don’t know how you are getting right back into everything again so quickly. It usually takes me a couple of weeks to acclimatise after a holiday! Loved the little gifts you brought back & wow - the cards were totally amazing!! Pity you can’t get them shipped to UK xx
Nice to see you back!😊 Also nice to see dolly🐾🦴🤗loved the video's you showed us you both looked happy and l wish you Botha very happy retirement 🎉🎉 looking forward to seeing your next video thanks Helen regards Lesley in anglesey 🙋💐🥂
Hello Helen good too have you and Ron back home safely..You have many beautiful memories and a few disappointments but thats to be expected no matter were you go...You look great..love what your wearing .
Hi Helen, welcome back, glad to hear all your experiences on your wonderful holiday. You and Rob packed alot in. Thanks for your vlogs throughout loved the style. You and Rob make a very handsome couple. Get a good rest. Colette from Ireland 🇮🇪
Hi Helen welcome back. You look well. You and poor old Rob will have this holiday to talk about for years to come. I have missed seeing you on the haul in my hall as I like to see what’s on offer in the uk. Anyway glad you are home safe. Thanks for sharing it all with us
Welcome back! I am going on a Caribbean cruise next winter so I have downloaded the Airalo app as you suggested. The whole data thing has been a concern of mine so great to have a method of dealing with it. Loved the Sun article and it made me laugh. Of course I had seen the video when you posted it originally and as always, your pithy comments about the fabric melting made me laugh again. We've missed you, Helen, and have been most appreciative of your efforts to post while on the trip. Your outfits were lovely.
welcome home even missing your wit glad most of your holiday was excellent loved seeing all your outfits felt asbif we were on your whole journey together from picking your outfits to all your posts and Rob is lovely xx❤
Hi Helen welcome back. You look fabulous, albeit your few problems thanks for sharing. Loved your videos. You and Rob the glam couple. The best thing to do is use an independant travel advisor. Now time to relax back into normality. ❤
Hi Helen, sooo nice to see you back, and Dolly’s little face at the front door, she is gorgeous. Great tips for those planning a cruise holiday. Thank you for all your hard work 😊
Welcome home Helen. !!😊 great to see you back home safe and looking so well !! Loved all your videos throughout your amazing holiday !! Some fabulous tips on excursions that we will definitely put into practice on our next cruise .. we always travel with Cunard and agree with everything you’ve said . thank you for your honesty !!
Great video Helen. I loved the little cards from Vietnam-beautiful. Great tip about the Airalo app - thanku. Don’t worry about us finding the video boring - I see that your subscribers have increased so I think you must be doing a lot right! Welcome back x
I met my husband working on cruise liners 44 years ago. I do remember missing the ship in Rio and having to get a tender out to ship and having to jump on the ship through a loading bay when it was moving. We had so much fun.
Thanks for the whistle-stop tour, Helen, and welcome back! It was so interesting to hear your comments about the ship and the organisation. Do get that photo book sorted out otherwise I know you will forget where things were! Anyway, lovely to have you home.
Hi, Helen. The article in the Sun was fantastic! Hope you get a major uptick in your subscribers from it! So glad you both are back safe and sound with some lovely memories. Looking forward to your next haul in the hall! Blessings from California XXX
Welcome home, your trip was an experience for us all. Yes we have all been there, turisttraps and on the other side wonderful things and people. I remember once in New Orleans we were told to a must, a so old church it was just 250 years old. Lol. But it gives you perspective. Will await your next haul
Welcome back! The small things always count because lots of little inconveniences that are constant becomes grinding… they all add up! Good for you for telling them - if companies listened more to what their customers tell them they want, rather than what the company thinks they want, it would be so much better for everyone involved! The ‘hard sell’ routines drive me insane! Egypt was bad for seller-hassle too 😕 And as for cruise ship excursions - you’re spot on! We never use them now, but it is a learning curve! x
Welcome home Helen, lovely surprise to see your vlog, so glad you had an amazing time I loved all the photos that you shared. Looking forward to m and s haul!!! Haven’t bought anything while you have been away!!! 😂😂😂 xxx
Welcome home Helen. Looks like you and 'Poor Old Rob' had a fabulous cruise but there is no place like home. Looking forward to more haul in your hall ventures, take care.💗😀
Sounds like you had an amazing time, love the beautiful Blue bowl you brought. Looking forward to your live Q & A session and your haul in the hall. Lovely to have you back and I'm pleased you found the link to The Sun. X
Welcome home Helen, all the cruises we have been on we have never done a tour with the ship it has always been on our own you see more and do more things with a taxi and as you say doesn’t break the bank. I have never wanted to go to Japan the furtherest we have been is Hong Kong and also Egypt which is a nightmare for people trying to sell you things. Looking forward to your live video.❤️❤️
Lovely to see you home Helen, and thank you for all your information about the cruise.glad you both had a great time … Looking forward to seeing your next video xx
Great resume of your trip Helen, nice to see what worked and what didnt. Excellent packing too if there was only one dress that you didnt wear. All of those hauls were worth it
O jet lag is awful. Glad you had some good experiences and learnt a few short cuts along the way. I've always said that wifi charges are horrendous. We always get a car when abroad & "do it ourselves" - its surprising how much you can save. Glad to see you back & looking forward to resuming Hels Belles. PS Hubby had surgery, home from hospital & slowly on the mend. Thanks for your wishes x
Welcome back, nice to see you again with all your holiday news. The cards are fabulous. With regards to the trips would you be insured if you didn’t use the ship’s excursions? Just wondered! Your gifts are very unusual and I’m sure your family will love them. I bet your Mum will be pleased to see you home safe and sound. Take care ❤ Carol S
