@@Noone-jn3jp i'd say even that could be debated: If the goal is punishment, then solitary confinement very much IS torture if the individual hasn't fully matured yet, and the younger the kid, the worse. If it's a grown up, and he's danger to others, then i can understand it. If the goal is reformation, then i'd argue solitary confinement is torture unless approved by the individual's own choosing, or again if the individual is truly a danger to his co-inmates. In conclusion i'd say every case should be dealt with individually and there is no one rule fits all scenario....
Iam addicted to Hunter x Hunter Reactions, sometimes when you are realy invested in something you enjoy others watching it. But i watch AIA the first time with them together, but i doubt it will be the last time, great Show.
Karl Pilkington is the king of keeping it real. Completely non egotistical. Non conformist, genuine and for someone so famous, not at all narcissistic. What a legendary man.
It's the Manchester blood he's got mate compared to other parts of the UK. Most of us Manc's are known for being straight forward, maybe slightly dim-witted but not egotistical. Karl is a genuine person it's rare to see someone on the telly who isn't egotistical nowadays lol.
I love Karl so much because in all his mad rambling he often spits out real truth, just in a bizarre way. That statement, “It’s never the person getting offended, it’s always someone else,” Is often very very true. But it followed the rant about leprechauns preferring to be called gnomes so if you don’t listen, you’ll miss it. 😂
36:20 When Ricky said he was putting him on a WORKING FISHING BOAT, I KNEW he was gonna get screwed. And he made it sound like he was doing him a Favor 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m from Alaska stayed in those cabins they have heating hahaha also weird they sent him in the winter when most of our whales are around in the summer
It's a bit. The bucket list aspect is a misdirect/excuse to keep sending him to do uncomfortable stuff. If he actually managed to swim with a dolphin (last episode) or spot a whale, it would be a complete accident.
@@TheCodarr Ricky and Stephen know that Karl is the funniest man on the planet when he’s pissed off. Just put him in an uncomfortable situation and you get better comedy than most scripted shows could deliver :)
Yeah, he was really feeling it. As someone who’s dealt with just a minor bit of seasickness for a couple hours, I can’t imagine how bad it would be stuck out there, with no hope of going back in🤢🤢
@@goldenageofdinosaurs7192 yeah man that would be awful. Especially on those seas. It is way rougher in those colder waters, usually. Sometimes you get bad squalls in warmer waters though, but you have the cold to contend with too. Which makes it even worse.
@@mysonandme8424 awww that’s terrible. I mean it’s not funny anymore when you get sick or hurt. I thought he was gonna kill himself jumping off that rickety bungee jump thing. Lol. He was right to be scared when I watched the kids fall badly. And adults.
Try living with no power in -1000 degrees for however many days that poor fella had to do 😂 Ricky is brilliant! He makes people realise how easy we have it in life through this fella. What if he saved this dudes life by visiting the doc to for his exam?
That was the music from the King Kong DVD menu playing. That's why it kept playing on a loop. In Karl's sea sick delirious state, he probably felt like he was in Ground Hog Day instead.
Man Watching Karl stuck on that fishing boat made me anxious asf. The way they were busting his balls while the guy is struggling not to puke when everything smells like raw fish. Fuck. That. I’d definitely be giving Ricky and Steve and unexpected backhand when I got back! 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I just could not stop laughing - hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 thank you both once again cheering up my evening because not only Karl has me in stitches laughing but both your reactions kills me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Fun fact: Eskimo is a term invented by Other Canadian Native groups who crossed the land bridge thousands of years before . They didn't like the Eskimos and called them that because it means " Eater of Raw Meat " . Because the lack of vegetables and grains and an exclusively meat diet without fire , ( until gas fired grills ) . It's falsely attributed to Europeans . And I've met Inuits they don't find the term offensive if you also mention you think their diet of almost all Meat is kinda cool AF
Eskimo actually meant something to do with snowshoes originally. It's odd how Eskimo is seen as being offensive now and is being replaced with Inuit, as all Inuits are Eskimos but not all Eskimos are Inuits. Calling Eskimos "Inuits" is like calling all European people "French".
Kinda like the Bushman tribes of South Africa - most of which use the term Bushmen to refer to themselves as a collective, but luckily for them academics were around to be offended on their behalf and introduced different names taken from their languages - which they didn't like and found pejorative.
Wow, the Blue Whale has a tongue as big as an elephant puts it into perspective. Also they weigh as much as 40 full grown Elephants or 2,667 Humans. They are the biggest animal to ever live on Earth, that we know of.
This is the most relatable episode being a Canadian myself , watching Karl experience the snow we all kinda got used too by having a bunch of blind Fun as kids, otherwise it would be way more tiring both mentally and physically otherwise .
@@negativeindustrial I'm sure it would be, the humidity in Texas drove me insane when I visited Houston , just never grew up with that , even on our hottest days
@@isntitobvious9894 Oh, you’ll remember the moment you first stepped off the plane forever. Our humidity is extremely oppressive to non-natives. My GF was born here but I believe she’d rather be in Calgary 🤣 I hope we treated you well, sir, even if the weather didn’t. Cheers.
I never knew this show existed, but being a subscribed fan of yours has opened my eyes to a whole new level of Ricky’s insanity 🤣😂 *sidenote*~I miss your 🐈 cat when she/he isn’t on the couch ❤️~watching Karl being tortured is comedic gold...I’m here for it 😂🤣😂
Alaska is beautiful!! Camped out in the middle of no where in Alaska for 2 months. Seen a ton of moose, wolves, and grizzly bears. If the bears see or smell you, even from a mile+ away, they turn and bolt away from you. It's the ones that you surprise that are the problem. That's why you're supposed to be loud so you don't surprise them. The moose are actually the most dangerous animal in Alaska besides the polar bears. Never had any trouble at all though.
I can't tell you how awesome it is to see you guys watching something that feels soooo typically English. I have been a huge fan of Karl, Ricky and Steve since back in the XFM days and to see two American dudes enjoying it, brings up a sense of pride in our funny little country and our weird slang and humour. Love these vids!
Watching karl wirh you is the best ..cried tears of laughter had to pause a couple of times love you too bits best time spent ever thanku so much God bless x
@@Jason_Van_Stone Hopefully but After Work Reactions tried watching the Moaning if life and it got blocked. Hopefully these lads can find a way around it.
@@dylangb6021 ahhh...yeah I don't even remember when Josh went down the English comedy rabbit hole, but it was awesome. I use to watch him when he was with his girl, (no offense to her, everyone has their own sense of humor) but she was such a drab reactor, and seemed to fake laugh/chuckle...so I stopped watching for a bit, then saw he was doing English television instead of Movies/American comedians.
Karl thinking The King Kong film intro the longest intro but really it was stuck on the selection screen makes that so much more funnier 🤣 “ It’s driving me insane , it’s the longest intro “
I got the notification and was surprised because I hadn't seen episode 3 yet; had to go look for it first! lol. Karl is brave! Swimming with sharks, going to Alaska and doing all that. I wouldn't want to do any of that stuff either, but man Karl went and did it. Respect.
This is the perfect show. A couple blokes who are not offended by anything, if it is funny. Then watching the funniest human being on the planet, who does not think anything is offensive. Love. Pure.
Love these! Keep ‘em coming! I really hope you watch season three after this... and i think you’d like Derek, another of Ricky’s gems. Our man Karl is in it!
They were there during the mildest time of winter, when Ricky tells him it's -3c, that isn't even cold, that's pretty mild, you can't even see their breath in any of the outdoor scenes, and when the trucker picks him up you can see the snow melting on the road, so Karl was obviously playing it up for the cameras, even a Brit wouldn't find it that cold i'm sure. Now, go when it's -20, -30, and lower, that's cold..
Aw poor Karl, made me a bit sad to see him so sick...it kinda killed his whale watching experience... I bet he'll never eat fish again... 🤢😀 Ricky sure is a pain ahaha however thanks to him Karl got to have so many adventures, and see the world.. that's a HUGE gift even if Karl complained through all of it 😂🤣
