You know what changed in 16years ? Passion for the innovation, today aspirants are joining IIT only for packages and many of them are byproduct of fear of failure. And back then this guy showing his room tour like a mad scientist. He loves what he do without the fear of failure and societal acceptance.
@@xboxgamer9216 I am not preparing for IIT I am in 11 and every student is preparing for good placement and package in IIT I didn't see any student who is there in IIT for the love of pcm
@@HarshilBadmintonhmm, so does that mean im the true one? I actually do not give a SHIT to placements. Bas mil jae to thik hai nahi mile toh isro me jaunga. Lol
Lol when a person turns 12 his ideas are always dimmed as engineer everyone only do is cram formulas and write that in exams nothing else , it's the reality you won't accept they don't tell us how we got the formula the process behind it It's already too late you should have said that 15 years back
@@mightytitan1719but jee is different brooo we (specially i use the logic behind the formulas) it helps me to solve lots of complex problems....our teachers says we don't need to learn the formulas we need understand the steps behind those formulas..... this helps us to understand the concept easily.....
Everytime he bought a rope from the hardware shop, the shopkeeper would think "this gotta be his last time, welp he was bright soul" yet he'd show up again
as a current engineering student i can see the drastic change! no matter whether u r from IIT or any 3 tier college, we have lost this spirit and enthusiasm within these years. today all we care about is passing the exams without backlogs, watch youtube lectures a day before exam, stay unproductive the entire year and suffer from anxiety and stress during exams.
Bro I generally do not comment on any video reply to bhot dur ki baat hai......but this comment of urs is smthng which has literally explained my whole story m also a pcm student hving a dream of being an iitian with high IQ right now I m in jnv and will complete my 12th in 2 months....it's the same situation fr me....m just trying to pass in my examination instead of hving interest in my subjects it's the fear which is pushing me to study and hence making me unproductive due to lack of interest and more of the societal pressure......🙃
RU-vid recommend this after 16 years!! This is just crazy!! People then used to be real enthusiastic. Can recall my days. Now much have been changed. They are lost in mobile phones. Innovation was much focused with limited resources but did greater impact.
So He's probably the first Indian vlogger i guess. A video from 2007, the people in the video are now settled ,married, have got kids...life has totally changed. Time flies
Those days were the real days for an ITTian to innovate. With no access to proper internet, no smartphones. True intelligence and amazing original ideas that could be witnessed.
RU-vid has literally recommended me 3 iitian's vdos since today morning First one was 15 yrs ago Second was 16 Third is 17 yrs ago What has happened to RU-vid's algorithm 😂
Basically, they sensed that old videos have higher clicks and views especially th3 very old ones like beyond 10 years old video. So, they updated their algo.
Besides being intrigued by the innovative room, I am equally impressed by the person behind the camera. His questions and tone demonstrated curiosity, and the quality of this entire video speaks a lot about the entire iitk package.
I was smiling for the whole video man it was really an awesome room .... I used to do the same things with my own room , but not at this level ! salute to u brother !
This video was uploaded before my birth and now am an jee aspirant...this feels incredible by just watching the innovation of that time and nowadays they just talk about pakages and nothing else iit means a security for good package i wish i could have born earlier so i would have been in this golden era..
Without social media and quick dopamine hits, Life had a meaning...and innovation was the essence of life. Real engineers do existed 16yrs ago, but it is hard to find one today...
RU-vid recommending this masterpiece after 16 years is just incredible!!! Back then aspirants used to have a passion for innovation and nowadays people only want to get into iit's for packages.
I'm pretty sure it was the same back then. But exceptions like these always exist. Engineering is only this popular because most students are either unsure about what they actually want to do or their parents won't allow them to do what they want to do.
Back when youtube used to be a place for fun videos like this.. and not for view farming.. Remember watching it 10-12 years back.. This was the only video about IIT life back then.. I found 1 person use this guy's idea of using elastic rope to close door in my IIT days. But too much internet has really ruined a place for candid videos like this.. This how vlogs should be..
RU-vid picked me to see this. I thought i am extremely lazy but damn this guy humbled me. I did rope door system in my room but never i even thought of hanging my Pc.
I'm an IITian and I can say this with 100% surety that 98% of todays IITians lack that engineering passion, they just want the IIT tag along with high packages.....they don't opt for core jobs due to comparative low packages
@@peak_911 higher the rank, higher the freedom of choosing the branch. And lets say if someone is really into computer engineering, he'd do anything to get into that branch, either by getting high rank, or going for colleges that would offer him the branch
CSE job will be there but demand will go down and AI and core branch skill will be in demand, package of CSE will be same just that number of jobs will be less@@levvz6113
Yt recommended this mind-blowing video after 16 years!🤯🤯........ It's a true testament to engineering ingenuity and the practical application of physics and mechanical engineering..🙌🧠⚙️
awesome dude! throught my stay in iit,i ran after bloody robots, aircrafts and coding which was cool but of no use and to all sucking people who think this guy had gone mad:- try to learn from people like this guy who change their environment according to their wish unlike all who gets adjusted to their routine boring and sucking life with no thrills and interesting things and you always cant expect iitians to do something useful for u
Just looking at this video from 2007 strikes so much nostalgia even though i completed my engineering this year, the kinda of passion and drive people had was phenomenal i wish too look this video every once in a while just so it lightes up the engineer in me Leaving this comment in hope that i come back again
I'm doing mechanical engineering from a tier 3 private college in Asansol,WB..2020-2024....i choose mechanical because i had a very keen interest in mechanical systems and automobiles from my childhood....though all my friends are in cse depts........these videos reallly encourges me to love my stream (i do love my stream and i think it is the best!!!).....otherwise nowadays people taunt you if u take btech courses in core branches.....these videos really shows the true engineering & innovation.....(i want to pursue mtech from an IIT)
I wanted to take cse too as I thought going with the flow was best option but couldn't get it at any decent college so I had to settle with mechanical with fairly decent college, I was upset as I learnt more I started to love it and now I want to explore this field and I am also planning to do mtech from iit.
@@jayjoy there's a lot of things in mechanical system that would jst blow your mind....I would suggest u to do summer research internship from an IIT.....I did it from IIT ISM Dhanbad....once u get a taste of mechanical IIT there's no going back.....and learn some software like solidworks ...learn about BIM technology it's related to building making simulation....also parallelly learn some cse subjects like AI or some competitive programming but do only one out of these two things no both
@@ayandeepsarkar7027 currently I am in 5 sem, I will look into internship at iit and currently I am also learning python and have started working with cad but yeah I have to crack GATE to get into decent IIT and this is going to be my first trial attempt, I hope you achieve your dream and your passion for mechanical engineering lead you well into future.
@@jayjoysame case here took mechanical in a good college instead ok taking cse in a lower one and now regretting it and coding along with core branch. My advice to all the juniors will be to always prefer branch over college that you are taking....
another certified youtube classic. makes sense that it is from a IIT since that would be among the few places in India 16 years ago with internet fast enough to actually upload a video
This guy reminds me of my engineering days. Although we were not as crazy as this guy but done many things to keep my shared room cozy and private as possible.
*Thanks YT for recommending me this masterpiece after 16 freaking years* 😍 *From windows xp sounds to the furniture design they all bring back so many nostalgic vibes* ❤️
