This doesn't appear to be entirely the same Methven we saw at Sunderland. Easily the best and most down to earth interview I've seen for years from an owner or co-owner. As always, the proof will be in the pudding, but it certainly feels like a period of stability for the club is beginning.
I think at last we have the right owners , the right manager and finally good players on permanent deals , im hopefull we will be up there next season. COYR , DOBBO TO STAY !
wow what a change what he says makes lots of sense and no panic as in previous ownerships ,lets hope what he says about the owners being emotionally involved now will give us the stability we need as a club good interview
I watched Methven at Sunderland and thought what a dick, but have to say I was very impressed by what he had to say, he seems much more humble this time, he thoughts outside the first team are open and he seems to really want the club to succeed both on and off the pitch. He seems happy with the team behind the scenes and that seems to be a first for a long time. The future looks promising and I hope the ownership group follows through and I can see us challenging next season.
I really like this bloke and feel like I’m hanging on every word he says. Fingers crossed he isn’t just another action-less chanced that leads this club down the road of nowhere. Up the Addicks!!
