For the Ipswich fans thinking the additional time was too extended, you celebrated 2 goals which were at least 30 seconds each if not longer. Ur substitute took a good while to get off the pitch. A few fouls in there is probably increment worthy too. He even gave you guys a chance after we scored the last goal to put a cross in the box. I think an additional 3 minutes it’s probably fair if not it’s football officials what do you expect
Yeah there’s 90 seconds between the first goal and the restart, 1 min between the second and restart, plus 30 seconds after Charlton’s first, so there’s your three minutes
Nobody can really blame Ipswich for trying to wind the clock down. Anyone who's ever been in a football team would've done the same. But the ref got it right and Charlton deserved the result.
Since I recently moved to London back in May, I have attended 4 2022-23 season Charlton Athletic matches. 5-1 vs Plymouth, 4-2 vs Exeter City, 3-0 vs Portsmouth and 4-4 vs Ipswich. What a fun club to watch.
@@2010ColinF the ref was so biased towards Ipswich during the game it was unreal, also the timewasting from Ipswich did add up to 3 mins, keep crying 😉
I wonder how many Charlton fans have sheepishly waiting for this video to show them what they missed after leaving at 4-2 yesterday ;) From a neutral, thrilling final few minutes of football encapsulating everything that we love from the game. You can have your tricks, you can have your passing sequences, you can have your gegenpressing - nothing will beat lumping looping balls into the box in the dying embers of the game to snatch a late leveller/winner.
This was my second Charlton game, just after the defeat against MK dons,so I thought it was all over and left early .I will not make that mistake again.
Watching this and still can't believe it! Fair play Charlton, you didn't give up. And to top it off I wasn't surprised. Will be a good point earnt at the end of the season.🔵⚪️
As a fan, these are the rollercoaster of emotions experienced. When you lads got that 4th goal to make it 4-4, it felt like I had been kicked in the nut sack combined with a double punch to the kidneys. That's football. All the best next season. ITFC
Great video! A Crazy game!! One that will live in the memory 😂🤣 fair play to Charlton! Goodluck for the rest of the season 👍 We fell apart at the end! 😂 But I would have taken a point at the Valley before the game had started. COYB!! 💙💙🚜🚜
Wednesday fan here, great video for a neutral to watch. Seen a few of them myself for the owls over the years and it's a great feeling. Limbs everywhere!
unbelievable stuff. Always had a soft spot for Charlton after that final day in 2016 when we clinched the Championship at Valley Parade and you Charlton fans were going through an awful time.
I remember a game like this in 1997, Leicester v Arsenal in the premier. It was 1-1 going into stoppage time and finished 3-3. Bergkamp scored a cracker
Look at those Charlton fans cheering the 4th goal, clapping on their feet like they're at a theater watching some Shakespeare play... Cold-hearted beasts know what good art is.
I think thats a first in any professional league ..4 goals last 8 minutes of added time.. there have been rare examples of 4 goals in 8 minutes during regular 90 minutes
When I first saw this result I genuinely thought it must be a mistake 4 goals after 90 minutes in a league match ! I thought when man city scored 2 in stoppage time to win the Premier leage was incredible !
That is the arena sidemen played hide and seek at. The golden sign where he celebrate after 3-2 That is Where Vikk hid to watch Tobi that sat on the seats with his red suit. Maybe this is Where They played one Of their charity matches as well?
Everyone complaining about additional 3 minutes. I’m fact the last goal was score 98:13, so it’s only 2 minutes as the last play held. Celebration for the 4-2 was almost 1:30 minutes until restart of the game. Come on it’s just fair. You even had the chance to score on your own again as the game was ended 99:45 lol
It's like when the refs in fifa don't blow the whistle and give the opposition chance to score. But well done to get the goals back to get the draw, absolutely amazing
I missed this when it happened, 4 goals in 8 minutes of injury time, that’s gotta be an all time record surely ? ( Edit, the record for most goals scored in extra time is 5, Italy v West Germany 1970 World Cup.)
Where to start with the Ipswich celebrations. Woolfenden is like a cheerleader in front of the fans after both goals. Keogh acts like a kid high on skittles. Ladapo cups his ears and tells the fans to bring it on. I wonder did he do the same at the 16 other clubs he's played for this past 11 years? And then Ipswich go onto draw the game. Charlton delighted with a result they already had in the 91st minute. Why not push for the winner instead of taking a minute to have an orgy after scoring a goal to rescue a point? Ambition? Nah lads we just rescued a result we had a few minutes ago from a team that are cheerleaders in the making
