40:30 its hilarious that its BOTH; gianni voices gabriel in-game (including the intro speech and his rematch intro at the organ) but max0r also got him to record some lines for both this video and the previous one (including the "I'm in your prostate" and "I do not have daddy issues" lines)
8:50 nah that’s Wes, she’s great. Like, god damn is she good! So, Gabriel is, as everyone said on Ultrakill part 1 and are definitely saying now, voiced by Gianni. Not just in Max0r’s videos, but also in the game. At the end, when V1 beat Gabriel for the second time, Gabriel’s faith in Heaven was completely destroyed. They stood around and did nothing while Hell and all of its denizens were devoured by V1 and his race. They did nothing when V1 and his race massacred every human on Earth, flooding Hell with people that were not fated to go there. And they punished him for failing to protect Hell and it’s circles from V1’s rampage, despite not lifting a finger to stop it. So he goes… more than a little mad. He becomes something of a nihilist and just decides “Well since I’m going to die anyway might as well” and goes on a rampage of his own through Heaven. He completely destroyed any who got in his way, leaving nothing but death in his wake until he came to the Council that gave him his death sentence in the last video. And so the Councillor (voiced by Max0r) gets decapitated and his severed head is shown to the survivors while Gabriel just laughs brokenly.
As for whether or not God is dead, however, I’m pretty sure that it’s not confirmed. Last I checked, God had lost faith in his creations (both humans and angels) and literally just fucked off
As a note, it's hardly V1's fault, they literally run on blood. He and his fellow robots have to kill and kill in order to survive. It's like complaining about wolves killing rabbits and deer. Still horrible and nightmarish but I'd more blame the people who decided robots that run on the blood of the innocent were a good idea.
@@LordTyph Well machines like V1 were built during wartime with the logic of a machine that never needed to recharge during battle. Though I do completely blame them for V2 who was created during a time of peace
Is there any proof that Gabriel killed any angels not in the council? Ke killed all those nerds but I don’t think he’d actually kill any regular angels
In the actual game, Minos is voiced by Stephen Weyte, who's most famous for playing Caleb in Blood. Considering how memetic he was, having someone like Bager voice him for this video was a logical choice.
P-Ranking all of act 1 just unlocks the Secret Boss, P-1. You can move onto act 2 without playing it. P-2 will be released soon:tm:, unlocked the same way by p-ranking all of act 2. Also, Crash Bandicoot is a secret level - just like the maze, puzzles, and the visual novel from last video.
Fun fact about the soap,is a legit strat in the fps games Published by New Blood. They are insta kills to all enemies and even bosses which is also a speedrun category for Dusk i think
The one screaming Gabriel's lines is his actual voice actor (Gianni Matragrano), who loves voicing his own shitposts and once streamed Ultrakill as his character, and in character. He has voiced for Max0r multiple times prior.
@@John-Stark literally, look at the maxor video, he tells you in plain words, that Mandelore didn't respond to him for the video, the lines you are hearing, of Mandelore speaking, are straight from the game.
The voice actor for Gabriel is in fact the same voice actor as in the original game. Also, "so he basically cut Gabriel's head off, damn." Nope. Gabriel cut the other dude's head off.
Plenty of other people have explained it here, but here’s a more in-depth one if you’re interested: Beating Minos Prime is not necessary to get to Act 2, though beating it is an achievement in of itself. The only way you can get to Minos Prime is through that door with all of the P logos on it, hidden away somewhere in level 3-1. And the only way to do _that_ is by P-ranking every level in Act 1. Which means you have to kill _every enemy_ to get an S rank for it, be _fast enough_ to get an S rank for it, and be _stylish enough_ to get an S rank for it, WITHOUT DYING, on EVERY LEVEL in Act 1. Then you go back to the door, go through the spinal staircase, beat the flesh prison, and try to kill Minos Prime, which is the polar opposite of the spectrum from easy. The average player takes well over 50 retries to beat the level, and in some cases, just to get past the flesh prison. Oh yeah, there’s supposed to be one of these for each act, with the second one almost done. The game’s dev Hakita posted the theme and lead up to the second boss on his channel, if you want, give them a peek.
So many things that need to be said: Voice Actor for Gabriel is the same as the one in game. The voice actor for V2 is funnywes, who voices V2 in both videos: She is likely known for a surge in popularity when MGR was in its meme dominance. You don’t need to P rank every level to access act 2, just to access the secret level P-1 which has the Flesh Prison and Minos Prime Bosses. Gabriel didn’t get executed at the end, HE executed the high council in heaven, even though they were his only path to survive after they stripped the fathers light from him for his failure.
44:23 Gabriel is ending one of the higher angels my dude. . .he saw that his faith wasn't as good as he once thought and took out of one the higher ups and is showing heaven it
Oh yeah, Gabriel's voice acting is just as good in this video as in game. It's the same voice actor. Somehow maxor got Gianni, the actual voice of gabriel to voice-act for his video.
Max0r isn't joking, it took me 700+ deaths before I was able to kill Minos so it gives you a perspective on how hard it is to kill Minos. (It was my first time facing him)
1st. off no you don't need Perfect score to move on to act 2 2nd. The voice actor for Gabriel in the video is the same the actor in Ultra kill which is awsome
Answering to Renegade folk: 8:34 The V2 in max0r's videos is voiced by Wes (funnywes) 9:30 No, it's only for the secret boss. You can take worst ranks and still keep playing the next level as any game should. 👍 25:15 Max0r played the game in normal/violent difficulty. It's recommended to play normal/standard if new to the game itself. I don't think sensitivity is linked to skill, more like a matter of how much you're inclined to move the mouse for every situation. (there are decent quantity of mobility inputs to cope with self turning and retain target acquisition on screen). Personally, I play with low sensitivity for precision and I move the mouse a lot. 👍 40:25 He's the same VA of the game! Gianni did Gabriel in ULTRAKILL and some extra quotes for max0r's video here and there. It's up to you which ones are in-game ;) (aka. pls try the game) As a final note, half of what max0r shows to you and talks about implies you already played the game to actually joke about it. Game's totally playable for everyone.
You don't have to p rank act 1, the p ranks are for Prime Sanctums, levels which contain secret very difficult bosses. I have to say, as ridiculous as the game looks, trust me, it is far from it. It has secret joke levels that alter the game genre, like the Crash Bandicoot one and the dating simulator from the last video. But the actual story of the game is rather metal and very dark. The mechanics are very different than Doom Eternal, acting as a sort of Devil May Cry in first person. The game is so complex that people are STILL discovering new techniques to take out enemies faster. And the best part, the game is STILL not complete, so imagine how advanced the game would be when it finishes. I encourage you to please give the game a shot. I know you are going to love it.
27:30 old vid i know but that's actually a level in the game. Each layer, with the exception of layer 3 and 6, have their own secret level that's a reference of some kind to another game or genre. The Prelude's Secret Layer is a horror game in darkness trying to avoid a monster; Layer 1 is full of puzzle games, and funnily enough that level is called "The Witless"; Layer 2 is in the format of a dating sim; Layer 4 is Crash Bandicoot, the level is titled "Clash of the Brandicoot"; Layer 5 is a fishing game; Layer 7 is a reference to Viscera Clean-Up Detail Layers 3 and 6's secret levels are their Prime Sanctums, or secret bosses. You need to Perfect rank every level to unlock these fights
The perfect rank requirement through act one is to fight the prime boss for the chapter you can go through the acts without P ranks but you need full P ranks to fight the primes
44:30 Gabriel did not die here, he murdered a council member effectively straying from God (who in ULTRAKILL disappears before the events of the gameplay)
9:30 no you have to perfect act 1 to unlock a secret boss and eventually a new secret boss will be added harder than minos where you perfect all of act 2
9:30 No. Finding and killing King Minos’ spirit by getting a P-Ranking on every level in Act 1 is OPTIONAL. Also, Rata [RANK10YGO] has a video about Ultrakill Act 1 that he made a few months before Max0r, and it’s really good. Especially because it’s not an “incorrect” summary and he actually shows what the game is like without lots of hyper-edits. 16:15 That joke reminded me of a video I watched the other day, a historian who mentioned (based on his experiences with an ex-boyfriend who was Russian) that in Russia’s culture, corruption is considered a perk of a job, not a crime. You’re expected to take advantage of your position in some way, and if you don’t, _then_ others will consider you untrustworthy because you’re probably a dirty little snitch. So damn messed up. The example used for this was because the guy and his ex-went to a Russian arms depot and were able to buy a box of grenades from the guy who **ran** the facility, and go out into a random field so they could hang out and toss out grenades for shits and giggles.
