Honestly for me I found Ace Combat 6 to be my favorite, as it has more of a desperate tone compared to the other games.

Honestly. I love the destruction missions where you blow stuff up under the time limit. The oil pipeline one is my favorite, because I use an A-10 Warthog during it and play "Gulf War Simulator".

my problem was the planes you have unlocked at this point make the gunning fuel trucks part down borderline impossible cause the storm absolutly ruins your ability to move

@@marley7868 Just go for the Gripen E with LACM. It will be enough for the first part of the mission, and the plane is fast and agile enough for the second. Aside from that, it's a plausible plane to unlock before this one and it's great in the mission afterwards.

Funny enough, I've been replaying the game and as I was taking a break from it, I leaped in joy when I saw that you guys had uploaded this. Also, the missions involving Mattias and the Alicorn are DLC and they've also added new aircraft since I last played, which is one reason as to why I've been replaying the game. I had never heard of the series and of all the flight simulator games I'd only played IL-2 Strumovik(?) on the PS3 which was fun from what I remember.

I dunno, I didn't have a problem with the bomb missions. Usually when I had to restart it was because I misjudged the distance and rammed my plane straight into the enemy head first. XD And no, you don't have to do the entire mission all over again if you screw up the second half.

I am guessing you were pausing and unpausing the video, which made the recording stop? If that's the case you could try using the K key in the future when pausing to avoid it happening again. Love your content, keep up the good work.

About the spacebar triggering the last pressed button, I can relate to that. The same thing happens to the RU-vid videos I watch. I had to resort to using the keyboard shortcuts for the YT controls.

The Desert mission was by far the most annoying and the hardest, had to retry like 5 times and almost broke my PS4 out of rage

Never understood the difficulty people have with that mission, the trucks barely move, so going in the general direction of one when they show up makes them a joke to find.

@@peteramadio1854 Huh, rarely have I heard people have more trouble with the first section instead of the second. The first section's pretty simple though. Just bring in unguided bombs or even the mig 21 with machine gun pods. Aim exclusively at the oil tanks, and you win. I don't see how so many people had issues there.

One of the biggest Issues I have with AC7 is it's checkpoint system The game itself is amazing, but I h a t e spending 15 mins on a boss bottle against the Arsenal bird, just to get shot down by a random missile out of nowhere and have to restart that entire 15 min segment all over again. Though the oil port mission never causes me issues either even if I use just air-to air weaponry

not sure what Nic was complaining about, since i barely had any trouble during my playthrough of AC7, i got through most of the missions fine, like the first desert mission fine, and everything else was done within the first try, besides escorting the bs that was the so-called commander so he can live after being a huge asshole the entire time

The Desert mission isn't as hard on repeat playthroughs but it is extremely annoying and if you want S rank on all missions on Ace it just fucking sucks. That one and a few other bad missions are the only missions I don't have at S rank so I just gave up. Ace Combat 5 I got with 7 is better in terms of missions, they all have similar lengths except a few and they don't throw that much bullshit like "Da rude Sandstorm" and "Earth, Wind and Fuck You" from that mission

Wow that guy is bad at ACE combat if he finds the super easy missions hard. The oil bombing mission's first half is literally a joke to help ppl relax after the previous one which was mostly boss centric and spoiler alert, the sandstorm part is super easy to do with dedicated fighters with higher stability , you don't need bombers for the first part unless you want to spawn the missions ace by destroying all targets within a timeframe.

I think I forgot to mention that I wasn't accepting low scores on these missions. I wanted to try to get as much out of the first playthrough as possible, so I imposed restarting from the beginning if I screwed up at all on myself.
